Stopped by this morning to buy sweet bread for my dad who is at KU Hospital. As a first-time visitor, don't be overwhelmed by the crowded shop--there is an amazing selection of enticing sweet breads. I grew up in a Mexican-American/Anglo house that was more middle class Anglo, but I recall the amazing sweet breads that my abuela always had at family gatherings. I ordered by phone because I live in Olathe and I had a family member pick up the cake. When my sister came to my house I saw the cake and it was not what I ordered.
