Day 1 ✨MO Magic✨ . Y’all know how much I love spending time with each of my little ones, so Gigi and I decided to escape to the beautiful Kansas City for the weekend! We landed and checked into our beautiful hotel, which I’ll share tomorrow. Then, we woke up super refreshed and went straight to @classiccupcafe for a delicious plate of waffles - they serve breakfast all day by the way. Then we did a bit of shopping, and headed to @legolandkc & @sealifekansascity for some more fun! You can visit both places in just one afternoon 🫶🏽 After we headed to a new attraction called the KC Wheel, which is a giant inclosed Ferris wheel overlooking the city. Pro tip: go at sunset for the best views 🌅 They also offer snacks, photos for sale, and a Mini Golf course. After riding the wheel, we headed to @foxandpearlkc for a local farm to table dinner. It was delicious and we just can’t wait to bring back the whole fam 🫶🏽 @visitmo #ThatsMyMO

Went in on a Sunday night for a special occasion dinner with a booking made 2 weeks prior. There is a parking around the back that free. The overall vibe of this restaurant is lovely. It feels like you’re stepping into a midcentury masterpiece. The spiral staircase that leads to another dining room downstairs is cute! The dining room has purpose built midcentury booths that are backed by indoor plants living their best life in front of floor to ceiling glass windows facing the street. It was a bit chilly so dress warm if going in winter. The menu was small but mighty. We ordered a bottle of wine from the list and it was reasonably priced for an international selection. We ordered the potted cheese which is like a cream cheese spread with a bit of spice in it, we asked for extra bread as a side as we had cheese left when we got through what it came with it was that good! Beautiful sourdough bread. We also ordered the sausage, which was tasty but the chucks of apple were too big for the sausage filling and sort of tore the sausage apart when eating. The mustard and greens with it were tasty though. We then ordered the duck breast and the spaghetti added with pancetta. The spaghetti was just the right size for how dense and flavorful it was. They were both delicious and the tableware, plates were very fitting for the vibe. Overall a lovely experience and for finer dining in KC was worth the price tag.

Me and my spouse and few friends came here for dinner to celebrate a Birthday. We did have a 8pm reservation and we were late and still we were able to be seated this I appreciate and I was grateful for. The host is nice and the man is maybe a manager or owner is not as warm but not rude. We are seated we order cocktails with our waiter who super nice at this time. Drinks: I order a Espresso Martini my spouse orders Old fashioned. The martini is ok has some cinnamon in it this is new for me, I don't hate it but I don't love it. The cocktail is in a very small coupe glass as well. Old Fashioned is ok needed a bit more sweet and bitters, the cherry was left off but we tell the waiter and this is taken care of. Food: Takes 45 mins to come out and an hour for our friends . Now food is a little pricey and were aren't cheap dinners we pay for quality, taste and ambiance but $40.00 for a single smoked Pork chop only garnished with sauce and few turnips I think is kinda wild. I order the whole trout comes with a chorizo oil drizzle and a very small portion of what they call Missouri rice. Fish taste good and is a good size head one. I wish I had a more forward sauce besides the oil rice is bit cold with some hard bits its just ok in taste. I need a little salt and pepper for fish but there is none on the table. So I eat what I can without any until server come back. My other friend has the pork chop and my spouse they both like the flavor but agree that it was a bit chewy and they wish they had a more dominant side besides those few turnips. My friends only eats half her chop the rest is taken to be boxed on the way to the kitchen there is a loud crash food is dropped on the floor, server offers her discount but she want her food. Stressed server goes to back and comes back after good while and drops a box off at table with no word and look of frustration on his face. In the box is a single lonely pork chop that's it! No garnish none of her turnips she had left over no sauce nothing just a pork chop rattling around in a box. I go speak to who I think is a manager and tell them she needs sauce and all the thing he is not very interested in what im sharing with him, warm he doesn't want to talk and from 1st meeting him at the door I almost feel like he doesn't want us there or hes having a bad night. That will never be a issue we wont return. Still we order order dessert keep in mind its my spouses Birthday and they brought us small glass of champagne we did a toast this was on the house. We order Apple Fritter and lactose free ice cream was good. For me and how and where I spend my money its not about the swanky decor or trendy vibes, please give me good food even with a heavy ticket that feels worth it. Please give me and amazing caring staff and management and fairness. Yes er I we still left a decent tip but I will...

We had a large party for a birthday, 16 people. I had been here a couple times before, but years ago. I can't remember details from the first times I went, but remember it being ok. The restaurant itself has great vibes and atmosphere. For such a large group we were able to try a lot of items. The descriptions on the menu sounded good and unique but the execution of the dishes really fell short with some being really bad. Many people in the party felt the same. Some things were over salted, or the flavor was way too extreme or intense, or off. The cocktails at $12-$15 were extremely sweet with over pour of sugary syrup. The beautiful heirloom tomatoes were over salted with what tasted like an everything bagel seasoning, the cheese curds were cold and had interesting pimento type cheese with pickles in them- very sour and salty, not a traditional curd where it's more solid and chewy. The chicken wings had a very extreme almost artificial smoke taste that was overbearing, the same artificial smoke taste was on the Denver cut steak which makes me think it's artificial... or the charcoal used got on the food somehow, and the steak was very tough. The sourdough bread for the table was definitely sour and a little stale, the cheese with it was extremely salty, just needed something to cut the sour and the salt. Two vegetarians in the group and they felt like there wasn't much for them to eat besides the eggplant, which fell flat. Couple folks got the lamb ravioli and commented it was very gamey. Every dish felt off which was a little disappointing for such a large group - we ordered so much! Not meant to be a negative review just honest and hope it provides some helpful feedback. The shishito peppers were fresh, simple and good. The cheesecake dessert was also good. Overall we had an almost 1500 bill and just wish there was more that we enjoyed. We love this cute spot on the westside and want to like it, but just a bit disappointing and probably won't be back. 1/3 of our party were from out of state and I wanted to impress folks with a delicious dinner, but a little sad there were so...

Honestly, this restaurant is incredible and is definitely worth going back to, even though there were drawbacks to our experience here. The food is SPECTACULAR, while the wait was aggravating. We tried the barbacoa tacos, the agnolotti, porchetta, and short ribs with potato confit, along with the potato rolls and honey thyme butter. The rolls and butter, and the potatoes, were the group favorite. The tacos were good but the pok choy was almost impossible to bite out of it was so tough. Taking a bite of the taco was made even more difficult logistically because you couldn't bite through the surprisingly tough vegetable. The agnolotti also had way too much flavor - seems crazy, I know, but it's like the sauce was just ultra concentrated sauce that you couldn't have too much of at one time or else it was intolerable. Basically, as you got to the bottom of the bowl (where the main reservoir of sauce was) you couldn't eat it. The flavor was good in less concentrated amount but by the bottom of the dish...goodness, none of our party could even stand to finish it off. As far as our reservation and wait time goes, we'd reserved at 10am that morning through the online portal for a 9pm dinner (the earliest they could fit our party in). We arrived minutes before 9pm and were seated at the bar while our table was prepared. It was 9:30 before we even got to our table...and then it took another 10-15 minutes for our waitress (who had been attending to us since we were first seated at the bar) to take our order. She had forgotten to bring us menus, assured us we didn't need to bring menus from the bar area when we were being moved over, etc. Not sure why the manner in which we were waited on was so lackadaisical when the restaurant is so busy. The service could have been better but she was nice at least, if not a little not focused on what she was doing. All in all the food was exemplary even though portions are pretty tiny (save for the short rib) and it's worth going to, but expect to wait a long time for the entirety...
