I would give this location zero stars if I could. We placed an online order at 4:45pm. At 5:45 we still hadn't heard from our delivery man. At 6pm we tried calling the location who immediately said he was assisting customers and put us on hold. For THIRTY minutes total between the two phone calls (each time stuck on hold without getting a word in.) There wasn't a way we could cancel our order online by this time so we had to drive to the location since we had already prepaid. When we showed up the following happened: ZERO customers in the place, delivery man in his car ready to leave (not with our order placed 2 hours prior mind you), and the man working just stared at us without talking or smiling when we walked in. I told him we wanted to cancel our order and he acted like this happens all the time! He told me his driver had quit (clearly a lie) so he voided all delivery orders without letting customers know. I told him it was wrong to not notify people and making everyone sit on hold for an obscene amount of time. He just stood there shrugging his shoulders. Right when we started to leave he said our pizza had been sitting there this whole time and we could have it for free. He gave us our order and part of someone else's (I'm sure they were thrilled.) When we got home the pizza was obviously cold. I'm still not sure what he planned on doing with all those "voided" orders. The whole 2 hour ordeal was a nightmare and I will never go back to that miserable place! I'm guessing Papa John's just pockets your money even if they don't deliver your pizza if you don't complain or take action. The McGee location needs to learn what good customer...
Read moreI usually don’t do reviews and even with having horrible services with them I wasn’t going to do a review. I just received a call from a manger who said will stop taking my order if I keep voiding my orders. I can understand that this location have to go through doordash to deliver due to not having any drivers themselves. I live in an apartment downtown where any and everybody comes up and down the street. In my instructions I give them the code to get inside my building and to give it to me. Why did I get a text with a picture after buzzing them in and my food was taking? I went downstairs from where I saw the picture was at and it was gone. I took a break from ordering (a month I used to order once a week) and I order today and the same thing happen. I tip every time and for what, to not get my food? The first person I talked to was nice and understanding and just when I got off the phone with her I got a call back and maybe it was the manager. He was the rudest person and should not be a manager. He told me if I keep having voids on my orders he will stop having orders come to me, “ to stop wasting people time”. After today I will no longer spend my hard cash on this place especially to be talked...
Read moreSo this is an interesting story.
Today I decided to order for the second time in a week a large stuffed crust pizza from Papa Johns. The first one was great and well it's a lazy Sunday. I placed the order online and about 20minutes later I get a call from the driver not able to find the building entrance. I'm new to the area so I wasn't the best help but within 5 minutes he's in front of me. I add $2 cash to his online tip just cause of the inconvenience.
I go inside and look at the pizza and it's well, see the picture. I'm not too thrilled so I call the store and to my utter surprise the manager is up in arms about how he "dealt with me before" and that I "made a similar complaint on April 4th."
This is of course news to me. I've never called in nor complained before. So now I guess this was retaliation for the supposed complaint I made prior. I don't know why this happened and I'm not going to bother question it. After a short heated exchange I simply requested a refund, he claimed to oblige, and I'll simply not order from there again. But wow, for such a thing to happen is blowing my...
