My overall experience was sort of okay. Aside from my near undrinkable drink, and lack of bartender engagement, it was okay to lounge in with my partner and spend time at. I got a "Flowers for algernon" drink and I don't mean to sound rude, but it tasted like literal perfume. Like....as if I was drinking perfume straight from the bottle. The poor bartenders seemed as if they were so swamped with things to do or restock that they couldn't engage with anyone who sat at the bar. So me and my partner moved to those comfy chairs near a window. My partner also found his drink to hard to drink. He didn't finish it.
My tips would be to value the flavor of the drinks, rather than how boozy they should be. It's a shame to have a beautiful selection of alcohol and it all go to waste because it's not properly being utilized. And if the bartenders could bartend and chat it up with their customers, that would make me feel good about tipping them(I will tip 20% regardless). Perhaps someone should be hired on to perform the floor-work and tasks that seem to take up most of the bartenders time. I don't blame the bartenders at all because I used to work in the food-industry and I know how much work bosses can pile onto someone who is SUPPOSED to entertain and make sure everyone at the bar has a pleasant experience.
I will not be coming back for quite a while. Good concept, poorly executed. Oh and the music choice is so basic it's cringey!!! Please spice up...

First the restaurant is located in the Crossroads district which makes it convenient to downtown as well as other areas you may be visiting. The design and layout are unique and inviting. We had a variety of drinks including draft beer. My coworkers had several different types of the specialty mixed drinks and they all commented on how good they were. Even though not on the drink menu my wife asked for a long island iced tea and it was made to her satisfaction and she is very picky. Everyone besides my wife and I ate and everyone got the Cubano and declared those to be a hit as well. So in a nutshell we all had a good time, enjoyed the beverages and found the appetizers and food to be wonderful. Can't...
Read moreThis place is pretty neat! There are tons of books and even games you can play while drinking your cocktails. I wasn't personally overwhelmed with my drink of choice (it was some dinosaur lemon drink). It was tasty but I wasn't a big fan. However, it did come with a little dinosaur figure on the saucer (it was a warm drink). My boyfriend got what I remember as "The Dom" or "The Dominic" and it was STRONG. Good. But strong! They have wonderful flatbread too! We had one that had an awesome vinaigrette reduction of some sort drizzled over it. We wanted another drink and some more flatbread, but they are a tad pricey. However, it is a specialty cocktail kind of place so I get the overpriced drinks and food. You get what you pay for though! I wouldn't say no to going...
