Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Kansas City

What's worse then bad service? How about no service at all. Went there on 03-02-24 only one car at the speaker, we waited, and waited, and waited. Finally the car moved. When we got to the speaker, we figured out what we were going to order (time 05:39). 5 minutes later, tired of waiting I'm saying, "hello" to the speaker several times, no answer. I continue saying hello and Finally my wife and I think the speaker must be broken, so we drive around and see that the only vehicle at the window was the car that was in front of us at the speaker. So we wait and wait (a total of 15 minutes waiting) and nothing! At 05:56 we leave the line. Absolutely no service at this place, this was our first time coming to Tropical Smothie Cafe and proubly the last time. They definitely need better training or management needs to look at what the problem is here. When we went back around to see if maybe we missed an out of order sign on the speaker, there was none. The employee could have communicated with us, by at least telling us if we could wait (and she did have a headset on). The store was not busy during the time we were there, so like I said, what was worse? Absolutely no...

I love Tropical Café however, this location is terrible! I placed a mobile pick up order and when I arrived, my smoothie was done and my food hadn’t been started yet. The girl making my food was doing it one handed because she was using her other hand to hold her cell phone just laughing and laughing on a personal call. This was my third and final visit to this location. I will not return.

I can't say that I had a bad experience here? So much hate, but I didn't get bad service. I was at the drive through and they asked me my order immediately. This was my first time here so I told them I needed a minute. When I was ready I got their attention with no issue. moved to the window and what I thought was a little obscure was the need to shove a tip screen in my face. I didn't like that much at all. Nevertheless I paid and got my order promptly after. Pricing is high with a $2 dollar tip ended up being 19 dollars essentially. Times are hard and stores need to make money these days so I...
