I usually don't post reviews online. I find people are more likely to post a negative review over a positive one. When this place opened, I was Soo excited to have a little of home (Metro Atlanta) here in Kansas. I have been a Zaxby's girl for 20+ years and never have a bad meal. I had high expectations that this place would be just as high quality as the ones back home. I was disappointed and heart broken. I have given this place 4 separate visits and every visit has had it's issues. 1) My first visit I ordered a kids meal and made sure to ask for the zax sauce. I was assured by the staff it was in the bag and it wasn't. I had to turn around and park to go in and get the sauce. The owner was very nice and made good. Even giving me a cookie as a sorry. It was really no big deal because I love Zaxby's. 2) My husband ordered dinner one night and I asked for bone in wings with whimpy sauce. When he got home the wings had so little sauce on them that you couldn't tell they even put any on. Plus didn't send any extra. In Atlanta you order wings and those things come swimming in sauce. Not this place. I couldn't eat the wings they were so dry. I called the store and spoke to the manager about it and she said she would talk to the staff and offered a free meal but I didn't call for a free meal but just wanted this place to do well. I just decided to make sure the next time I order wings I need to ask for extra wet wings. 3) My third visit I ordered boneless wings and made sure to tell them I wanted my wings to be drowning in the sauce. I got to the window and asked again and was told they checked it personally for me. When I opened the box the wings had more sauce than the last ones but a lot of the wings were still dry from lack of sauce. I asked the lady to fix my order and she did. 4) Tonight's meal was a Cobb salad. The salad looked like it had been prepped a few days ago. The lettuce was wilted, turning brown and the tomatoes were turning translucent from age and mushy. The toast was old and hard as a rock and dry. Very sad salad. I have eaten at the Zaxby's at the Legends and have never had these issues with quality. Read moreThis was the most disappointing visit so far. Placed an online order like I have done before. 2 salads and 2 large fries. Arrived at the store 10 minutes before the order was scheduled to be done. Went in and notified the front counter staff that I was there for an online order so they were aware that I was there. My scheduled time goes by and several delivery folks getting their orders that were made after mine should have been ready. I asked about my order again and was told they would let me know when it is ready. Few minutes later and several in store customers order and get their food, I once again go up and ask about the order, still in the que I guess at that time. 15 minutes goes by from the time my order was supposed to be ready and I ask again about my order, the confusion on every ones faces behind the counter said it all, my order wasn't made or ready. So the lady behind the counter yells back to the kitchen about it and they start making my order. A couple of minutes later my food is ready, YAY. But wait, only 1 of the 2 large fries is in there, problem resolved quickly, I head home. Once I get home and actually dig in to my salad I notice that it is not even correct. The salad was supposed to not have cucumbers or fried onions, but it does. It appears that this was a mistake that was noticed and they tried to remove said items but failed to get them all, but instead took some of the salad with it. Compared to the other salad we got this one was half the size. I guess it was good thing I got an order of fries. The price I paid for these, $9.49 each, I expected it to be a better salad. Read moreAwful. Went through drive through, to get cold food and what looked to be a child portion. To take back in and have them say they'd remake and it should be more than what was there. Just to wait. Watched them take the bag and do nothing except stick under the warmer and give back the exact same thing. Awful. Before that we got the ladies order in front of us that was waiting parked cause they were behind on everyone's orders. She has one of the same meals we had on the top of the bag. My wife started picking at it reading some fires to realize the stuff underneath wa not what we ordered. So we have it back. They said it was the order in front of us. They were sorry. We proceeded to tell them my wife ate some of the fries on the top order. As we got corrected that first mistake. We informed them it had been eaten out of as well as the lady in front of us. She was visually upset and expressed it. She said they can't give that back to me, especially since it had been eaten out of. As we walked out they did exactly that! She was furious!
