Dripped Birria (Katy) — Restaurant in Katy

Came in today and ordered the egg rolls and several birria taco meals. First off we weren’t greeted. The egg rolls were suggested to us by CJ who was working the front. He was ok but moved very slow, so be prepared to wait… perhaps it’s the headphone in his ear that makes him move so slow. Once we received our order we saw on taco Tuesday you get free tacos once you order tacos so we had to tell CJ about the taco Tuesday special at the restaurant he works at, then wait even longer for the free tacos. We got more beef tacos and 1 chicken. The birria egg rolls are really good but the tacos are sooo nasty! The meat has like a sweet taste and the consume barely has a taste at all. The rice was old and hard and the beans are ok. Overall save your money and time. I feel like I wasted $65 and need a refund for terrible food!...

Omg! This place is new and they are starting off great! From the Customer service which was top of the line! Cashier took the time to explain and go over the menu, which included giving suggestions and helping me work through my own dietary restrictions! They also explain their hours of operations and what delivery apps they weee on! The food matched the customer service! I got the chicken egg rolls which were delicious!! Crunchy full and they were bigger a Than I thought! They had 3 different sauces and when I say all 3 were good, a green sauce, bbq sauce, and an orange sauce I put the sauces on everything! I also got the chicken tacos which were good as well and next time I’m going try the shrimp tacos the cashier recommended! This was a great experience I’m definitely about to...

Hopefully my situation isn't that common, but apparently I had ordered in the middle of a shift swap, which meant I had to wait 40+ minutes to get my order. I know it's not the staff's fault, but management should be doing a better job scheduling so that it doesn't take nearly an hour to get food when there only four people waiting for food.

With that in mind, I was very disappointed when I got my food: the street tacos didn't stand out, the favor was as basic as basic can be. They weren't bad, but in no way worth $15. The rice and beans were even more disappointing. The rice was undercooked and hard, and the beans tasted off.

The only nice thing was the actual food hall due to the atmosphere, but it was freezing cold as an obvious way to try and get you...
