We stopped by for a late breakfast one day. Everything we ordered came completely different than on the menu. For example, I ordered a Monte Cristo waffle sandwich, and I received some kind of chicken sandwich instead. When I attempted to replace it with my order, I was told the āchicken is better.ā Not given to me as an option or offered to provide what I actually ordered. Just take what you are given basically. Either honor the menu or let us know our food is coming out differently. We wanted what we paid for. My wifeās order was also completely different than what it described on the menu. Cucumbers and tzatziki on a hash brown waffle sandwich and a plain waffle with hash browns on it instead of an actual hash brown waffle as pictured. Just weird altogether. Donāt understand why this place is rated so highly when thereās much better food on the island for less.
Edited to add: Since they decided to respond with sass to me and have since edited their response, Iāll provide some additional information. We assumed what was on the items we ordered based on your own written descriptions on the sign placed outside of your business. (Please feel free to review the tons of photos people have posted of your menu items). Iāve NEVER been to a restaurant where they just improvise your order without telling you ahead of time. Itās fine to want to be that creative food place, you just have to let people know thatās what you are. Itās not difficult. I LOVE creative food and varieties of flavors and colors and presentations. But please take some constructive criticism instead of biting back at my review. All Iām saying is that you need to let customers know that youāll be making items off-menu. And it wasnāt just that you improvised on our food, it is the way you spoke to us whenever I asked about it. I still accepted my food, sat down and ate, because it didnāt seem I would be getting the friendly service I had hoped for. (Photo added from Bobās review below to detail their own descriptions of items.) Still thinking I guessed what was on the sandwich from a photo of the food, Hibiscus? Youāre silly, and I think youāre capable of kinder and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExceeded expectations. Food was great, we had the lamb shank and chicken rice plate. Flavor was great the people helping at the counter were friendly.
We enjoyed it so much we went back again following day to try the gelato and sorbet. Will try other things on the menu before we leave. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to any of our guests staying at the condo.
If we had eaten here first it would have helped us avoid all the bland offerings of the surrounding competing places in the little center.
I asked for spicy and did not disappoint. We are picky when it comes to food and when we are on holiday like trying all the things around us.
This spot made us very happy to have found. Donāt feel pressured to learn the self order Kiosk point of sale system either. We opted to talk with the friendly person right there and they helped answer our questions and put the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was excellent. However, the bait and switch tactics used by this food stall was atrocious. The displays at the side of the building show the delicious grilled rice plate with what looks to be a full flatbread. In reality, you only get 1/4 of a flatbread, placed underneath the meat so that it was incredibly soggy. For breakfast, we chose the fluffy pancakes. The display at the side of the building shows you get 4. You only get 2. In addition, the prices of the items listed outside of the building are not what you pay, they are much higher. The only way to see what they actually cost is by using the electronic kiosk, which is incredibly hard to see in the sun. Completely bait and switch. If you can't keep your signs current, get rid of them. It also took 45min to get our food, so plan on waiting a long time if you're getting...
