I'm a fan! This place is excellent! On my first trip last week, I had the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork belly. It was great. The broth was so nicely balanced and flavorful. Just the right amount of salt and spices. I was in a hurry so I didn't get a chance to take photos of that meal, but I do have photos of today's order.
Today, I got the Kimchi Ramen and it surpassed all expectations. Wonderfully hot and spicy broth but not overpowering with pork belly and kimchi. It was fantastic. They use a 10 point scale for heat level. I got a 7 and was not at all overpowered. It seemed just right for me, but I eat really hot food so order accordingly. I also got an order of takoyaki (octopus fritters) and they were excellent at well. I also got a Japanese soda. If you've never had one, they are quite nice and the opening process is fun.
A friend of mine got an app order of Karaage Chicken (not pictured, sadly). If you've never had this, and aren't sure about it, I strongly suggest you take a chance. It was the most delightful Fried Chicken. Crispy and savory with just the right touch of salt, I can say it's the best chicken I've had in quite a few years.
Service excellent. Both servers working today were friendly and polite. Atmosphere is simple, but clean and pleasant. Owner came by to check on us at the table which is always greatly appreciated.
Google goes to 5 and that's what they certainly earned. Personally it's a 10/10 must do again. Just an excellent...
Read moreWe visited recently as we still absolutely love this restaurant. When we walked through the door, there was a weird smell in the air and the restaurant was pretty warm.
Our server was incredible as usual though, and very attentive. Order came out pretty fast and we got our usual. Part of my order comes with crab legs and I popped open a leg and ate it, and it tasted very fishy.
It was about that time that I put two and two together and realized the smell in the air was actually fish. I kept trying to go through all the crab legs and they all tasted pretty bad, and we're falling apart from being overly cooked as well too.
I didn't take a picture of anything this time, but i should have. For my ramen, I got pork belly as my meat with the ramen and this time the pork belly was overly cooked to the point that it was almost completely crunchy.
I had lost my appetite for the rest of the food after this and decided to not eat anymore. Again, the server was still amazing as usual, but this is the first time I had such poor quality for the food and the atmosphere this time was...
Read moreHighly Recommend. This place is so good. Their ramen is delicious, so much flavor. Their other dishes are also so flavorful. I got their Chicken Katsudon tonight and the chicken is so crispy, the sauce was exactly as described mildly sweet. It was so good. My wife got the crispy cod filets and rice and the sauce on the fish was unexpected but so tasty. This is the 2nd time we've been in two weeks and I have a feeling this will be a regular for my family and I. I also highly recommend the chicken karaage if you're looking for an appetizer.
My daughter (2y/o) loved the fried rice.
If you are gluten free or vegetarian their menu is clearly noted for options. Their wait staff are very friendly as well.
An odd thing to notate but their tvxs are showing cameras of a Japanese restaurant's kitchen and personally I could probably watch that all day.
Highly...
