This was a total disaster :( I'll never knowingly stay at a Days Inn again. I don't even know where to start here. First off the couch/bed was hardly a bed,. very poorly made. As I didn't pay for the room I let the one who did sleep in the real bed but that couch. wow. Think they had 1 person in mind for that just to sit on. Only way I could actually use it as a bed without falling off to the floor is using the seat pillow as the back pillow and turning the thing to face the wall. Oh and it had a bottom sheet. Um where's the pillows and the top sheet. Took them forever to find them and in the end they didn't seem to know what a top sheet was cause they sent up a pillow and another bottom sheet O_O hello sheet. After all that brother had a spare sheet on his king. Then because I had nothing better to do other than wait I noticed many of the electrical items right down to the food shelfs were ,... um did someone forget their level? They were by and large crooked so good one could notice. Safety alarms and the fancy touch sensitive (turned a light and heated windows on) were very crooked especially the one in the bathroom. took the end of a tooth brush it went to the last line with the handle end on the bottom to the middle of the lines on the other side. The other one was fairly straight. Even the shower rod was crooked. Like so crooked you can see most of this. As I had no level myself one could tell anyway. I suggest this place was a rush job. I came in and the window was unlocked totally meaning if any kids were of the curious kind and we were on the 3rd floor and they opened that window that could have been dangerous. This place makes Cheap Inns look good. This isn't cheap Think it would have been better sleeping out in the Scion if it weren't for the rain. Hope it doesn't leak up on the top floor. I expect this of Microtel I didn't know they also own Days now :( Think out of the crooked items the mirror bugged me the most. The other one was nearly level but was chipped. And apparently there was evidence left behind of another traveler so things weren't picked up as good as they should have been..Bet I was the first one to sleep on that...

Stayed for 4 days this week while visiting family. Made reservations online, and never received a confirmation email, so had to call the hotel directly to make sure that the reservation was confirmed. Very nice on the phone, and yes, the reservation was there. We arrived earlier than expected and a room was available. Since we were staying more than a couple nights, we reserved a suite for the extra room and the ability to not feel confined within four walls. The room was very spacious, the bed was VERY comfortable and the bathroom was larger than most hotels of higher costs. The staff during our stay were awesome. Always friendly, saying hello and getting to know us. The property was clean and brand new. There were a few things that I could comment on that could be nit picky....the furniture in the suites living room looked cheap and was very uncomfortable to sit upon. Vinyl that squeeked every time you breathed and you would stick to it. Housekeeping came and made the beds and restocked towels, but didn't replenish coffee and cups. Again, very minimal nit picky things, and overall I would still give this hotel the five stars that I gave. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time we...

Putting in light-blocking shades doesn't do any good if there is a 2-3 inch gap at the top through which the extremely bright lights from the parking lot shine directly. Even with all of the lights off, it was daylight in our room--not conducive for restful sleep. The mattress was far too soft, the box springs were clearly worn (creaking, metal on metal at the slightest movement), and the square pillows were not comfortable. Both my husband and I woke up sore and not well rested. The tile floor had clearly not been cleaned. We had a water spill and the towel was extremely dirty from the cleanup. For the price, multiple awards stacked on the counter, and the other reviews, we were expecting a much cleaner and more updated, comfortable room. The front desk was not staffed when we arrived and we waited quite some time for assistance, though the woman who eventually helped us was friendly. We would not...

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Lots of accessible outlets in the room which is incredibly rare. Only drawback was breakfast -- wish the hot dishes were labeled so one didn't need to open them to see what they were and you'd know whether they were pork products (as there are many people who can't and/or don't eat pork). Labels would also cut down on possible transmission of virus/bacteria-transmission due to having to touch less.

The room was clean, well maintained, and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially Trevor who was helping everyone out with where to go for dinner. Unfortunately, the hallway smelled like sewage, and other guests had noticed that as well. The ashtrays by the outside doors look like they had not been emptied in a while. The inside of the coffee maker was filthy with fingerprints and who knows what else.

I was driving through town and only there for one night as I had a project at the university the next day. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was exactly what I needed for one night and it was easy to get around town for my project. The continental breakfast had the standard items, but that's all that I need. If I'm ever back in Kearney, NE I would stay at this location again.
