This McDonald’s has really gone down hill. My wife and I were in the other night for a quick dinner and there was one person sleeping on a bench and another sleeping with his head on a table. I went up to the counter and spoke with Zachery, the on duty manager and asked him if he knew he had people sleeping in the lobby. He said he didn’t. I suggested he go and check out the lobby, he said I am busy right now. I contacted corporate and asked for a call back. It has been several days with no call back.
Today, we went in for a snack and this evening, Zachery was on duty and there was a woman laying across a bench with her shoes and socks off and feet up on the bench.
I am not that worried it took almost 15 mins for us to get our meal each time, or that they left things off and we had to go up to the counter to get what they missed on our order. Frankly I am concerned for the parents and kids that go in. Is Keene turning in NYC?
My best guess is with staff shortages they are having a hard time getting good help. Twice now when we have been in, my wife went up to get something from one of the staff members behind the counter and was told, I already clocked out, so they were unable to get her a plastic knife, or fill her cup as they were out of the sweet tea in the lobby.
Years ago my wife managed a McDonald’s and would never have put up with any of this from her crew members. Has McDonald’s changed so much these things are now common place and customer service takes a back seat?

Read moreFAIL ..ordered using mobile app finalized order, checked in, parked in mobile parking. Yet again another fail. Due to location's system error code in app after placing order so was required to re order inside after having paid thru app. Once inside it was very evident there were all sorts of issues with what few customers that were inside all waiting disgusted being service was not what I'd call slow but rather completely non existant. Cashier holding up line was more interested in flirting with some 15 year old girl trying to convince her to apply for employment as it monopolized all his attention. So much so they incorrectly gave her some gentleman's order while he was waiting anxiously needing to return back to his job. Eventually I re order from that point it was 18 mins, keeping in mind I was waiting in to be helped 7 mins prior to that. Finally I recieved my order leave to return to my vehicle only to see they have screwed up the order and needed to once again go watch the absolute ineptitude show inside to get the proper food and drinks. 31 mins total with a mobile order paid in advance ordered in advance This place need a serious look into evaluating the group that's supposedly operating this location. Crispy chicken sandwich was made incorrectly lacking ingredients. *1 added note.. female cashier/manager took back incorrect part of order and replaced on shelf...now that in itself is disgusting enough just knowing she did that, ..so yeah... I won't return here ever again...Thankfully I noticed before I opened containers or touched food. But who's to say I didnt. Had I been less careful just think...you could likely have gotten that food...
Read morewent there today in the drive thru. was sitting for 20 minutes and no one was taking any orders, there were no other cars even at any of the windows, so cars waiting started pulling up to order at the 1st window. we did the same. the dude working the window (shoutout to this guy i could tell he was doing his best) explained that he was told he couldnt take any orders, he was very apologetic and it seemed like he was kept in the dark about anything going on there, so we just pulled forward to the second window. it had now been about 30 minutes and we asked if we could just place our order. the girl at the window seemed very stressed and told us she couldnt take our order, and when we protested explaining how long we had been waiting, her manager came to the window. nasty lady. she basically told us no and tried to gaslight us about the cars in front of us getting their orders taken. she then agreed to take our order after more back and forth but explained it would be 'at the back of the line, and at least 20 minutes'. we just left at that point. not waiting an hour for 2 cheeseburgers. worst fast food experience ive ever had. i will...
