Salt & Lime — Restaurant in Keene

Well, this was definitely a great lunch to end my drive to Keene. An absolute gem! Saw that they specialize in sausages and it was such a gorgeous day, I'd give it a try. First, let me rave about the fries. They were cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of salt. And the Mae Ploy ketchup matched up phenomenally with it. That was a revelation moment.

The Glacier National Pork sandwich sounded like it might be too rich, but those flavors matched so well. On top of that, the locally sourced pork had a wonderfully light taste. Grab a fork because it's wide and messy.

Prices were overall pretty good. The only thing I will say is that the value of the side of fries was vastly greater than that of the sandwich. My only gripe was that it was served on a half roll. I could've gone for a little more of that.

Salt & Lime has become my go-to for a weekday lunch. The menu is limited (as you would expect with a food truck), but everything I've had has been absolutely delicious. The ingredients are all fresh and locally sourced, and the quality is truly excellent. The street fries in particular are fantastic (any and all forms of them... regular, Pad Thai, or whatever special he happens to be offering on a given day).

Prices are fair for the quality of what you get, and portions are not massive, but not small either. At other restaurants, if I order loaded fries and finish them myself, I'm food-coma-uncomfortable for the next several hours... that's not the case here. The portions are a reasonable lunch size of indulgent, delicious food.

The food is incredible! We've tried quite a few things now and it is all SO good! Glacier national pork sausage is delicious. Any of the tacos (tried so far buffalo chicken, sweet & sour pork, szechuan sausage) very fresh and tasty. And the street fries! Oh my God the street fries! My personal favorite.
