PJ’s Coffee — Restaurant in Kenner

BEWARE So originally this would have been a pretty high review like a 4 star review... but the craziness that ensued was actually comical. So first time around we ordered coffee and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. No issues, only thing was that they toasted the bagel and gave us a little travel thing of cream cheese to spread on the bagel ourselves not the end of the world. After we ate we decided to go back and get a muffin to take onto the plane. We got back in line and literally the one employee that was working the place literally threw her hands up and went "We're closed, my shift is over, we're closed!" and dipped. Literally leaving a line of customers confused. A bunch of people left but we waited 10 mins until a new employee showed up to start taking orders. Most humiliating experience dye to poor customer service. As a visually impaired person I was unable to read the menu and requested the cashier inform me of the types of coffee available, the response was brief stating just regular coffee and lattes. When I requested more information it seemed as if I the customer was harassing the cashier. It takes a lot to ask for help to read. Imagine my shame at the hands of this lady who by the ADA is mandated to provide additional assistance to those with disabilities. In the end she did not complete all mynorder and another cashier had to cash me again. I have been waiting fir 20 minutes to speak to a manager to relate my experience in an effort to help others in a similar situation. Can the chain operators intervene? It's inside the airport. Once pass the gates, turn left, pass the restaurant with pot sculptures, then try to find the sign for Chick-fil-A. They are hidden behind a bunch of shops, so this is the hardest part. Once you circle to the back, it should be found right next to Chick-fil-A.
