No one go to the Dunkin Donuts on 66th street and 46th Ave N. I went there this morning for James and my breakfast and when I got to the counter, an employee said to me I'll be right with you. He was with me within 2 minutes. This wasnt the problem. The problem is, in the middle of my placing my order I heard someone scream at the cashier from across the store saying 'i need you to be making food and coffees.' Despite her aggressive rude tone the cashier calmly said 'I will in just a moment, I am taking someones order.' She huffed and puffed and said whatever. She then went to take someones order over her head set from someone in the drive-thru, and told them to "bare with her, they're busy." After taking the order she took her headset off and went into the back of the store. When she returned she was on her personal cell phone with I'm guessing was the store manager and said 'so if you get any complaints, you already know what's going on.' I'm thinking in my head, no they know your part of the story not what's actually going on. Then another lady that had already been in the store, wanted to order something else and stood there for probably 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to take care of her. Meanwhile, the employees were sitting in the back on their phones ignoring her. Another man was waiting for his bagel with cream cheese for quiet some time. The rude lady then proceeded to make coffees, which is part of her job, said 'if you're going to make coffees use the stickers please (in a sarcastic tone) I'm over here making 4 coffees.' The cashier who took my order asked her for help and asked her to just put my coffee in a cup for him so he could finish making my food. She said to him, 'your coffee has been sitting in the blender for god knows how long, you can put it in a cup.' She refused to help him. I dont know if she had a problem with him or what, but that is no way to treat a fellow coworker. I personally was waiting for about 20 minutes for my 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. With me working In the restaurant business I totally understand when its busy and you get frustrated and are having a bad day, but I for on know that is is HIGHLY unacceptable and unprofessional to speak and treat not only the employees the way she was treating and speaking to them, but the customers as well. When you go to a restaurant, whether it is fast food or a five star restaurant, you are supposed to feel welcomed and comfortable. Not one person felt this way in this store. You could feel the hostility in the room. There seems to be no team work. This behavior should not be condoned at all. I will not be returning to this location. Which is very disappointing do to the fact I live less than 2 minutes...
Read moreCustomer Service was awful today. I go there often and usually receive my drinks/food with no issues but today an employee by the name of Giarrah was extremely rude and even began to yell at me. When I first pulled into line I started to open the app to review the new drinks out for Christmas/Fall time, unfortunately the app didn’t load in time before I arrived at the speaker to place my order. I asked for a moment to review the drinks and before I could read two of them I was being rushed and asked repeatedly to place my order. Now I understand that there’s a line and not more than 20-30 seconds have passed before I was ready to place my order. Once I started Giarrah was rushing me expecting me and spoke over me as I was placing my order. I let it go with the feeling that she was being entirely too rude. Once I got to the window I was given a drink, munchkins and one donut. I had ordered 2 drinks. Asking where my second drink was she started telling me I didn’t order two. Well there was two of us in the car, of course I know my own order and what I had said. I had told her she was speaking over me trying to rush me which is why she probably didn’t hear my second drink order. Giarrah began to yell at me for telling her she was the one in the wrong and told me I was in fact being rushed and talked over to accommodate time. I had no intention of wasting her time but I don’t appreciate having my time wasted because she didn’t listen the first time. As she had rung up a new order for the drink she told me to pull forward. I put my card away, rolled my window up and began to drive forward and she yells at me saying “I told you to pull forward” this was extremely rude and I had begun driving already. I had to stop and roll my window down again to even hear what she was yelling at me.i will be telling everyone I know about this and will keep posting complaints because this was not ok. I did not receive an apology and do not deserve to be yelled at by someone who is supposed to be professional. A mistake was made and instead of yelling at me she should have taken responsibility or better yet from the beginning listen to the customer placing the order the first time. Giarrah was an extremely rude employee and I do not want to see her on drive through again. As I will be placing multiple reviews and asking for a manager next time an interaction like that happens with her....
Read moreThis Dunkin Donuts has gotten better. When it first opened it wasn't so friendly. The people looked at you like you were growing a third eye in the middle of your head. Things have vastly improved and if you didn't go there because before they screwed up your order or the service was poor, go back. They've gotten their act together and quite frankly, they are now spot on with service. You never ever can go wrong Dunkin coffee, it's so much better than the other places. Less acidic on your stomach, and price wise, affordable for, if you'll excuse my language, it's prices are great for the average joe. ;)
Aug. 23, 2017 And I'm editing my review for the sub standard Dunkin Donuts near me. First off to Dunkin Donuts in general, please explain why you can't get a Chai Tea in your to go cup? I don't get it. Last time the clerk behind the counter did it, but charged me for a large but made a medium. Now the girl today made it so milky, no real Chai at all, that the woman waiting for her order said, and I quote, "Wow, that's really white and milky." My reply, "Yes, yes it is, and it shouldn't look like this, should it?" Her reply, "No, I don't believe it should." Sadly I live within walking distance of this Dunkin and although I hear several complaints from people about this Dunkin, I'm done. I'm not standing in the gap for the service, attitude, etc. Every time I've left a tip before, no matter what, because I appreciate the efforts of retail working people, but not today. No tip in the cup today. So, no thank you for your service. Sorry for the harshness, but seriously, this Dunkin needs to step up it's service game. And you Dunkin, need to explain to the Chai Tea drinkers, why we can only get coffee in our...
