Normally I'm a real fan of Jack In The Box. They're not at the top of my list but I definitely don't mind them every once in a while when I feel like getting something to eat with a little extra cash on hand. Normally I don't go to this one either. And now, because of my experience at this location, I'll be staying away from Jack In The Box as a whole. I went in and stood at the counter for six (yes, SIX) minutes before a guy who was dressed as a manager came and greeted me. In those six minutes I stood the "manager" looked at me on three different occasions. He did not greet me. He did not say anything. He simply looked at me and ignored my being there. That alone deems a horrible review. But it doesn't stop there unfortunately. After being "greeted" I asked for a water cup. The response I received after waiting six minutes to even place the order was "Oh, we don't do that anymore." Several points can be made that include but are not limited to a.) Who said I was done ordering? b.) You make me wait 6 minutes to place an order only to find that you don't "do that there." c.) No free water? Great business model. So naturally, after waiting for six minutes while being ignored to place an order, I explained to him how ridiculous that was that he wasn't going to give me water despite his making me wait. After no progress was made and this "manager" essentially told me that he had other, more important customers to take care of (Yes, he really said that), he walked away after I asked for a different "manager." This original character had dark hair but with a stupid blonde bun sticking out of the top of his head. (They don't wear name tags for some reason.) I already knew he wasn't going to get anyone different for me. So I called a different Jack In The Box and found out that free water is offered in this franchise arm. Going back up to the counter, I saw a man handling the fryers. This guy stared at me just as dumb as the first guy. I asked him if he could take my order. He was very rude about saying "no" so I asked if he could get someone that could just as rude back. They must train people here on customer service and how to properly address someone who wants to give you thier hard earned money. (Which up until I had to wait 6 minutes to order something I'm told I can't have, I had intentions of doing.) Next guy I get is another "manager." He informed me he is a "team leader." And he says the other guy is too! Where are the managers?? So I inform this new guy that the past "manager" is a liar about his credentials. Also, I inform him that the past two guys were very rude and I'd like that to be remedied. He tells me to call corporate. So I ask for the first guy's name, cause if I have to make calls, I will. This guy denied telling me his name! (No name tags and this unethical way of hiding names to avoid complaints? Disgusting and cowardly!) Eventually after a back and forth, he gives me my water cup. Was it really that hard? The place is filled with snakes. Do you really trust people who don't even tell you thier names to make your food? I sure don't. Do you really want to support a business who obviously doesn't want your patronage. I sure won't. And the friend I was with said he won't either. Read moreI was running late on a short lunch and meant to order at the Richland, WA location but ended up ordering at the Kennewick, WA location. Going there to pick up and then head to my destination would add 15 extra minutes to my trip that I didn’t have to spare. I hadn’t ate all day so I opted to go pick up my food and take the hit at work. I ordered at 3:26 and arrived at the Jack in the box at 4:07 to pick up. The person in charge told me he could not help me. He did not see my order on the screen and without that he could do nothing. He said he wasn’t even suppose to be there, he was covering for the regular day manager Miriam. He said he would not be able to give me a refund and it didn’t matter what I showed him on my phone (proof of order and receipt sent to my email) he said it wasn’t enough because I could have taken screenshots, implying I was lying and trying to get free food, when I clearly had paid for it. So not only did I go out of my way to pick this food up but I ended up showing up and leaving empty-handed and insulted. I asked him to take down my information so I could return when Miriam is there to get my refund since he refused to help me with any type of solution. He said Miriam wouldn’t care and would just give me the refund as long as she wouldn't have to deal with me. Read moreI had the worst experience at this Jack in the box on Clearwater; I was having lunch with my daughter in law; I have been having medical issues and i needed to use the restroom so I ran ahead of my daughter and went and asked for the cashier lady if I could please get the key to the restroom; she asked me if I was going to eat there at the restaurant; I said yes of course; with a disrespectful tone she informed me that the restroom was in use; at this time my daughter entered the restaurant and we ordered i tried to pay with a $100.00 bill. She looked over and said NO I can't break that $100.00. I sould of saved my money and left. But my daughter had change. I still need to use the restroom; I banged on the bathroom door and there was know one in there. So I approached the same lady and told her there was no one in the restroom. She looked at me and said, Oh, believe me the restroom is occupied. I sat back down with my food I could not eat at this time. I get back up to ask for the key again; and a sweet young man came from the back and knocked on the bathroom door; and low and behold the restroom was empty; I thanked him; he knew what was up. Not only was she rude; and very unprofessional; I am 59 yrs. old and dealing w/ some medical issues; I am having concerns about other seniors citizens and the handicapped ; how are others being treated at this establishment? I won't be back!
