Probably my new fav boba place in town! I've been three times since they opened last week, and each time has been delicious. Sure, the wait times last week were a little long, but for a soft opening the staff was friendly and did great. The first time I got a OG Milk Tea with Tapioca which had a great balance of tea to milk. The tapioca itself was nice and chewy which is great because a lot of places in town seem to undercook it. The last two times I got the Brown Sugar Brûlée (iced) which has become my favorite. My fiancé got blended Taro, and blended Honeydew, both were great as well! They do have a few less traditional "fun" drinks which are not my thing, but seem close to something like Teahaus if that's more your lane. Pricing was very much average, with 2 drinks + Tip + 1.00 card fee= $17 bucks. On par with someone like Pearl Tea but cheaper than Ding Tea. Until we get Sharetea here soon (and hopefully Happy Lemon someday) this will be my default spot.
Decor-wise, it's cute but to be picky for no reason, all the walls are the same light grey which does kind of make the place seem "flat". They do have an IG wall with vines and a neon sign and some nicely drawn Demon Slayer pics for the a e s t h e t i c s though so that's cool.
Overall, I think it is worth a visit, or a re-visit if you came during the opening week and had a long wait (boo hoo). The staff is great, the vibe is good and the drinks...
Read moreI wanted very much to like this new place. The name and location has a lot of potential. However, there are a few major pitfalls. The order counter is just a couple feet from the door, leaving absolutely no room to make a line. When I came in everyone was crowded in front of the entrance. You could reverse the pickup and order spots, and take orders at the other other end of the counter, leaving room for a line and not crowing your door. There is a 0.75 (+tax) up charge for any kind of pearls or bubbles, including the standard tapioca balls. This is a boba shop! It is expected that at least the standard pearls are included, that’s what we are here for. On top of that, my drink didn’t have many tapioca pearls anyways. There is a $1.00 up charge on any card transactions of any amount… You do realize cashless is the norm, the is US pushing cashless transactions especially in 2023, and it is increasingly difficult to get or carry cash? It is a bad look when most of your clients have to pay this surcharge, just incorporate your card fees into the price.
Other cons: very limited parking, was given a small amount of boba pearls (that I had to pay extra for), long wait times, but this can be attributed to being new, it’s not a pressing issue. Pros: Good flavor selection, lots of seating space. I had the Matcha Baby, and the strawberry foam...
Read moreFirst time here, and wanted to go since they opened! Let's talk intier, absolutely adorable, so chic, yet showed so much character and what this place is about, loved the modern look inside, but then the pop of color from the anime paintings just make it! They also were playing Avengers, I love that! So cute, I tried to get as many pictures of the intier as possible but I respect others privacy, so it was difficult to get clear shots. The ladies at the counter our super nice as well. Now the drink I got was Tiger milk tea (pictured), plus tapioca pearls which is my go-to at all boba shops, and this one wasn't as special as I was hoping for, but it was a 9/10, the drink was cold, and the pearls were hot, it was around 6$. My one and only complaint is that I specifically asked for the syrup to be drizzled around the inside of the cup (for aesthetic reasons lol) she said okay, but they didn't give, ofc it did not ruin the drink's flavor at all tho. But overall you should definitely try this place, there is plenty of space to sit, (sometimes it is a little crowded) but the drinks are good. 4/5 recommend,...
