Unbelievable. While returning from a meeting in Chicago I stopped by this McDonalds open 24 hours. Now at 3:05AM I don't expect the best service in the world. I waited at the intercom for just less than 5 minutes for them to ask me for my order. But I didn't expect to have them dropping F Bombs left and right through the intercom. The guy probably didn't know he had it on and they were swearing about the "F'ing burgers". I was first told they would only accept cash. While it's possible their system is down (I've had this happen at other 24 hour McDonalds) I felt like this time it was simply due to them not wanting to work. While at the drive through I had one car in front of me. I counted out exact change, $2.11. 8 quaters, a dime, and a penny. The guy at the window RUDELY YELLED for me to "COME ON!" This whole process of me counting the money took less than 10 seconds as I already had the 8 quarters and was just grabbing a dime and penny. Inside one guy was reading a magazine sitting at the counter, I believe there may have been another cook in back. The male at the window was real sloppy, rude, and at this point it was obvious I was going to complain. When I saw him look at me, dump the burgers in the bag, I made sure a receipt was going in. It did not. When I asked for one he said "I can't give you one, the system is down." That simply doesn't happen. If they can accept cash they can print up or WRITE up a receipt. At first I figured he probably just didn't want me to complain, but in afterthought it seems very reasonable they were pocketing the money and writing off "burned" burgers. I told the male at the window (approx 25 years old) I needed a receipt. He just said; "I can't do that." Like i said; I don't expect great service at 3:05AM at a McDonalds, but DO YOUR JOB. In this economy he's lucky to HAVE a job, let alone one that offers pretty good benefits like McDonald's does. I did not eat the food, as I was afraid these workers would poison me or done something...
Read moreI literally visit this restaurant or store as it's called on a daily basis and have literally spent anywhere between $10 and $20 everyday. I would even bring my service dog with me, both customers and staff members enjoyed her. No one questioned whether she was a service dog because my disability is quite obvious. Until today a manager who has legal right to do asked if my dog was a service dog? I said yes. I started on my way and manager asked me for my service dogs ID. This is very illegal not only in the United States but also in the state of Wisconsin. When I mentioned that it was not legal for him to ask me that question I became upset and asked for refund. Then he made me wait behind three other customers even though I had already placed my order and had been at the restaurant before them. When I asked for my refund again he said just 1 second "sweetie" I told him not to call me that and then he continued to do so. despite my request not to. This ensued into a verbal argument with the manager and the more upset I became the more condescending he became. The thing of it is I don't understand why this even had to happen? All I was trying to do was pick up my mobile order so that I could get back to work. Instead I'm reminded of what it's like to live with a disability in a society that thinks you're a second class citizen. If the owner of this restaurant is reading this and you would like me to provide the medical documentation of service dog,I'm happy to do so to prove that she is indeed a service dog. But I really Just wanted to pick up my food and didn't want that humiliation. Clearly your manager has a control issue. I was just a customer like everybody else but humiliated because I asked your manager not to break the law. Oh and of course he's going to tell you he never asked for ID. He even threatens to ban me from the store because I was emotionally upset. Regardless, I will not frequent your store as long as that...
Read moreI placed a mobile order at 2 a.m. and when I arrived at McDonald's, I waited for 45 minutes in the drive-thru. When I received my food, it was only the cookies and 2 medium French fries. I explained to the cashier four times that I was missing my 20-piece nuggets and 2 cheeseburgers. She then proceeded to ask me three other times what I was missing. The overnight manager, an older white male, was very rude, asked me for my mobile order code, and I explained to him that I could no longer see the code because they had already entered it. He then proceeded to look on the register, found my order, and said he wasn't going to give me my food as it had already been made and given to me. I proceeded to show them what was in the bag, and the whole time my food was sitting on the counter cold. When I asked for it to be remade, they promised to remake our French fries as they were ice cold, and it's been 10 minutes and I'm still sitting here waiting for some French fries. The manager came out, handed us our French fries, and proceeded to talk negatively to us for asking for the French fries to be remade, and said not to come back to the restaurant, threatening to have us trespassed, when clearly the store manager can pull the video from the cameras and see we did...
