I gave it a three because the servers/bartenders really leave something to be desired. I realize that they just opened last week and there will be plenty of kinks for them to work out, but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic customer service. Smiling, for instance, is a way to project energy and attention. Basic pleasantries, like thank you and you're welcome, should be a given. Drink menus should have been memorized! I requested a "purple people eater" and was scowled at as if I'd grown 2 heads...they also ran out of 5-6 of their signature drinks in the course of a 5 hr period on a Saturday night. This indicates a flaw in planning for inventory that should've been a little more on point, even for the new business. Last I checked, alcohol is a staple when one decides to go to a bar. Calling ahead to reserve tables should also be considered. I called 24 hrs in advance inquiring about this option and was told that it wasn't a thing. It took 3.5 hrs to get a table for 6 (we had a party of 10). Our server in particular, seemed like she didn't like her job. She asked me several times which items were mine and took her sweet time getting food/drinks/to go boxes. Also, it would've been nice to see a little pep in their steps. I'd recommend a nice book on walking with confidence/purpose. At least then, customers can feel as if something is happening. Now, as harsh as my critique of the staff has been, I happen to like the concept of this place. I'm also very appreciative of the upscale casual goal they have regarding food. I haven't tried anything that I haven't liked thus far and was very impressed with the burgers in particular. The games give you plenty of choices, some traditional and a few new.they also have plenty of TVS for the sports crowd. For those of you who haven't been there yet, I encourage you to go. Just be ready for slow...
Read moreOur recent visit to Dave & Buster's for a combined birthday and Father's Day celebration was truly exceptional, largely thanks to the phenomenal staff who went above and beyond.
From the initial planning stages, Katey was an absolute lifesaver. She expertly handled our reservation, patiently adjusting the headcount multiple times as our plans evolved. When we arrived, she greeted me by name, making us feel instantly welcomed and valued, as if we were old friends.
Our server, Ashah, was incredible. Her kindness, compassion, and attentiveness made our time there truly amazing. She anticipated our needs and was always one step ahead. When I unexpectedly had to step away from the table, Ashah thoughtfully watched for my return to ensure she could take my order and continue providing seamless service.
The exceptional care didn't stop there. Lexi at the front desk was also amazing. Unfortunately, I was battling a severe migraine and nausea during our visit. Lexi, demonstrating incredible empathy, actually came into the restroom to check on me and even brought me a drink. Her genuine concern was deeply appreciated.
As we were leaving, I had the opportunity to speak with the manager (whose name I regrettably missed). I stopped to express our immense gratitude for the outstanding service we had received. She was equally kind and even offered to grab me a water for the road.
The collective efforts of Katey, Ashah, Lexi, and the manager were truly phenomenal. They not only made my sons' birthdays incredibly special but also showed such remarkable care and consideration for me when I wasn't feeling well. Thank you all for going above and beyond to create such a memorable and positive experience...
Read moreI’m almost blind because of both eyes having cataracts. Where you eat is dimly lit on top of it. On the table sits a little menu of arcade coin packages. There are 8 different packages and each one has the TOTAL for it EXCEPT the last one which says $40….300 coins on 4 different cards. It’s the only package that has more than 1 card which I had 4 kids with me. I was planning to go to the counter to purchase cards but our waitress insisted that she would do it for me at the table and just put it on my bill. Ok.. so I asked her TWICE about the $40 300 coins package and asked “so do the 300 coins get split between the 4 cards?” Ohhh no she said, they EACH get 300 coins. Well I thought ok! Great. Never did she say that the total was going to be over $200!!’ I would have said NO way I don’t want that. My bill comes and I’m thinking about $200, for me and 4 kids my bill was $378!!! I felt nauseous and asked WHY! Then she pointed out in tiny letters the word “each” on the menu and it was ONLY under the $40 4 card 300 coin package! I couldn’t see that! Why did she not explain that it was EACH? I 100% feel like she was purposely being sneaky because she THOUGHT she was getting 20% tip and the more she can get me to spend then her tip gets bigger. In what world would I pay MORE for stupid arcade games than I would pay for dinner for 5??? The other ridiculous thing was after spending $204 for arcade cards, the kids got a crappy $5 toy for their points. I could have bought 4 kids tickets to Disney world for $400. Never again and I will be blasting them out all over my social media/ everyone I know about...
