Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Kernersville

Let's start off with the good. The iced tea my girlfriend received was very tasty. My hot latte was made to perfection. Why only 3 stars? Two reasons. #1: The app was not working to place an online order and of course, the only way to see a menu in the app is to...you guessed it, place an order. IMO, the Caribou Coffee app needs a complete redo. I have ordered online from the High Point location on multiple occasions and every time, the app is my biggest disappointment with my experience. I will no longer use the app to place an order to avoid this frustration. We will continue to visit Caribou because the beverages are tasty, provided #2 reason is rectified. PLEASE, when placing the coffee lid on the coffee cup you do it with a hand that does not have hand lotion, perfumes or anything else that completely overpowers the aroma of the coffee. It was disgusting. If not for getting on the highway before taking my first sip, I would've turned around and gotten a new lid. Only our second time having Caribou. I pull up knowing what my husband wants but I didn’t have a clue what I wanted so I asked for a iced coffee recommendation from the lady talking to me and she said the caramel cooler is good. I didn’t see it on the menu so I asked to be sure that it was iced coffee and asked if it had actual coffee inside and she said yes. I get my order and it’s a frappe type drink and I wasn’t happy… My husband ordered the pumpkin cream cold press and his cold foam disappeared before I even pulled out of the driveway.. The lady didn’t know her menu and what I thought was so unprofessional, is she was talking bad about other coffee shops. Probably...

Excellent coffee and super quick, friendly drive through!! Even the frozen coffee has a rich (yet not bitter) coffee taste and the flavors (caramel, mocha, and vanilla) don't have that Starbucks artificial chemical taste!! My new go to for morning coffee!!
