Eggrolls we're not egg rolls in fact they were spring rolls. Look at the reviews on here everybody else is the same thing. The chicken and vegetables were in a puddle a creamy nasty puddle. The orange chicken was a little tough to bite into as if maybe they were reheated. When I said something about the egg rolls being spring rolls the girl went and got more spring rolls this time somewhat burnt same situation spring rolls when I brought it to her attention she gave me a smirk and said she's not too sure what happened there she grabbed the egg rolls from where the egg rolls are at and I told her right but these are spring rolls and not egg rolls. The rice was almost cold and definitely seemed like it was at best warmed up probably for 20 seconds in a microwave When I was paying for the meal the 300 lb Hispanic man was pretty rude about the whole situation basically telling me that they are egg rolls and he's not too sure how much meat was in them and I looked at him and I said there was no meat it was all vegetables meaning these are spring rolls and not egg rolls he didn't have much to say and I asked him if I could get some taken off of the bill because I didn't receive them and he said I can't just take anything off the bill and I said okay well there goes the tip it's her tip not mine. Bad experience. 👎 by the way the size of my mail could probably feed a 5-year-old it was...
Read moreFound a short black hair in my food after two bites. Kindly told the waiter about it and to take my meal off the ticket since I didn’t even have the appetite to ask for a new order. They came back with 10% off our ticket instead of taking my meal off the ticket! Lol.
They contested that everyone in the back wears a hair net. However, the guy that served our meal was wearing gloves and no hair net with short black hair and yet proceeded to look at my husband who has strawberry blonde hair.
After me showing that my husband does not have that color nor length of hair they went to ask permission of the owner that my meal be taken off the ticket, which they did.
I could see if I had eaten my whole meal and then tried to demand my meal to be taken off after the fact, but I literally had two bites of my food before I found the hair! And I was totally grossed out!
I’ve been coming here for decades. And almost every other week. Good food and service until today.
I’ll credit them for making it right, but the way they looked at my husband as if he was to blame ticked me off and the fact that I had to argue the obvious was more than annoying and unprofessional.
This whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth and we will not...
Read moreExtremely generic Chinese restaurant. Nothing really stands out at all, none of the flavors are unique in fact some of the things that I've tried here taste almost exactly like something you would buy from a store and then heat up in a pot, and other things literally taste like they're prepped in bulk at the start of the week and then either Frozen or refrigerated until somebody buys it. A lot of the chicken dishes all taste exactly the same just with a slightly altered sauce poured on after it's fully cooked.
The name is Chinatown chinese, possibly the most generic and common possible name for a Chinese restaurant, and the food matches this generic nature. As somebody who absolutely loves Asian food, this place is more upsetting than anything as I get closer to authentic tasting Chinese food from a grocery Store Frozen premade food section. The reason I'm even giving it the third star is because I love the staff here who have been friendly to me and my family, but at this point I would just rather drive to San Antonio to get something that...
