Subway — Restaurant in Kerrville

We went to this location on November 6th for lunch. I ordered a 6 inch wrap with chips and a small drink and my husband ordered a 6 inch sub with chips and small drink. The bill came to 22 dollars and change. While eating I noticed the sign in the window that said MealDeal, any 6 inch sub with chips and small drink is 6.99. I took my receipt to counter and inquired why my bill was so much if it should have been 6.99. He looked at me blankly and stated only certain subs were on that deal. I told him that's not what it says, not even in the fine print. He e kept staring at me as if he hated my face or something. He then rudely asked exactly what was I wanting. I told him my change. He said did I want to order another sandwich and I again said no, just my change. He then just ignored me at that point. Before we left a gentleman came in and ordered the same meal and was told it's a 6.99 deal. The rude guy is Courten, or something along...

Subway has long been my favorite fast food place, however, no longer. Ordered a delivery. The website was very slow. I did not receive what I ordered. The bread was not toasted, it was not the bread I ordered, the ingredients I ordered were not all there. I JUST ordered a single footlong by itself with the avacado smash. The food smelled and looked like the ingredients were old. The spinach was clearly on its way out, and smelled like it. I was surprised there was no mold. And the price. $21.76 for a single sandwich with NOTHING else???? EXCUSE ME??? I am never ordering here again. Why is the delivery fee and service fee 2 different things? Why is subway charging a service fee separately? Include that in the MEAL PRICE! Your fees are ridiculous. DoorDash (which IS a different company) is ridiculous. I am never ordering...

I hate to give a 2 star review, but I must! The good part was that the two employees behind the counter, who were very nice, smiling and joking around with my mom and I. Also, as they each manned 1/2 of the sandwich bar, they both worked on my sandwhich (mom didnt order) and were very cooperative with my picky instructions ("extra mayo, on the bread, both sides", "more vinegar", "oh, I forgot oregano"). So, everything was in line for a great review... waited to drive 5 minutes to mom's house before eating: STALE BREAD, UGHHHH.... Experience ruined. I'm betting I can safely blame the owner/manager on this (imagining them saying "Don't make any more bread after x o'clock", or something. Anyway, trust is blown... I'll be going to Schlotskies down the road if I need a quick sandwhich in...
