Turtle Creek Olives and Vines — Attraction in Kerrville

This is such a cute winery and bar. I love the vibe of this place it’s so eclectic and moody it has a touch of antique with modern as well. The wine was fabulous I had the sweet Italian wine blend so if your sweet wine person I would highly recommend that. I’m sure the moscato is good as well but they ran out of it and recommended the Italian red blend instead. They also have yummy Italian sodas and sparkling water for the drivers in your crowd. The prices per glass are very reasonable and the tasting’s are very inexpensive as well. Our Burrata appetizer was so good with the tomato and balsamic drizzle. I am very happy that I went here.

First things first, the wines here are all really good. You can tell how high quality the wines are with every drop. While this is perhaps not the most elegant of criteria, I had a fair amount and I wasn't hungover at all. I did the tasting, and it was really enjoyable to have wines that were not only delicious but unique.

Secondly, everyone here is quite knowledgeable and friendly. Todd treated us like an old friend and provided a lot of interesting details about the wines. The other bartenders were good with the banter too.

I liked the vibe here. It was unusual in a rich old eccentric guy way. It made it kinda fun.

Turtle Creek Olives and Wines is a great little shop in the historic area of downtown Kerrville. They sell wine, simple foods like charcuterie boards, shirts and more. The place has a historic feel and just has an antique type hotel vibe complete with taxidermy and a huge moose over the bar. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly! We ordered four different types of wines and they were actually pretty good. They serve ice cream too which is great for cooling off in the summer.
