Alaska Legends Cider & Wine — Restaurant in Ketchikan

We had a great day exploring Ketchikan. There was a cross promotional event happening between a couple breweries, distilleries, and ended here. We had a wonderful time at the other establishments and were really enjoying the town/people. However, immediately upon entering here we weren’t greeted with a friendly demeanor more annoyance that we were there with the “passports”. Ordered our drink and sat down. Still vibing. My husband then saw a touch tunes box and bought a few credits. He played two taylor swift songs to which we heard the bartenders audibly scoff at. Then he played a Morgan wallen song and they abruptly cut it off, shut down the machine and played their own music. Also, there was only one other table in the establishment that were all talking/hanging out and clearly not aware of what was even playing. It’s fine if that’s not your taste but why offer the option? Or maybe turn it off after the song that was purchased has been played?Just rude overall service and kinda brought down the mood we were in. Some brilliant ciders/sparkling wines on tap here available in flights. Jacob did us a tasting flight on very short notice for a very tight schedule, and he smashed it out of the park.

We tried 3 of the best, and a few future upcoming ciders from the artist himself (Jacob get that commission!!). The sparkling wines were stunning and the ciders were fruity without being overwhelming sweet. My partner who is a staunch north west England ale lad enjoyed his selections… also, Jacob was just a fantastic guy!

Wish we had longer to spend here but we were on a tight schedule. Looking forward to their canned brews making their way across...

Alaska Legends is a gem! We stopped here during our Alaska cruise, and it was such a cozy and inviting spot.

I did a flight and tried the White Cran Sparkling Wine, Guava Apple, and Sweet Apple Cider—everything was absolutely delicious! The flight is a fantastic way to sample multiple options and find your favorite (though it’s hard to pick just one!).

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the flavors of Alaska. We can’t wait to visit again on our next trip. Highly recommend stopping by for a...
