Great bar with great service. They also have a liquor store attached up front with some great Sourdough Cocktail Bar merchandise. They have a couple of pool table, pulltabs and plenty of seating. When the cruise ships are in it can get a little crowded but doesn’t last long as most are just passing through. I come up here every year for a fishing trip and always spend a little time hanging out here. Staff is great and very friendly. Prices are decent considering it is a tourist town during the summer. If you are in town you have to stop in and ask why they are called Sourdoughs.

A locals and fisherman's bar which also welcomes tourists. The lady behind the bar was friendly and helpful. Service is good, but drinks are quite pricy, but maybe this is normal for Alaska. It has the feel of an old American bar. There is a wall of pictures, which are very interesting - collected over the years of boats run aground or on fire just mishaps that have happened over the years. We also met and chatted to some friendly locals. Would recommend stopping here for a drink - especially their local distillery gin cocktails!

Unique local bar! Tourist must stop here even to take pictures. Try the Alaskan beer. Not pricey! Locals come here and beer and service fantastic. Pictures of ship wrecks from the area and lots of stuff from contributors hanging on the wall. Entrance by the only light in town. Clean and comfortable. This place has history.

There could be no better location for a dive bar with an attached liquor store. It is smack dab in the middle of the crew ship docks. People coming off the ships gravitate right to it and one never knows what kind of crowd is going to be in there at any time. One of the evenings I thought the place was full of guys, but it was just a group of gals from a lesbian cruise on Holland American. The staff is wonderful, and they do their best to keep people happy. Quite often, one of the bartenders or servers will bring in a crockpot full of something delicious and they put that on the table. Everyone gets a bowl and there’s no charge for it. The walls are covered in Alaska history. I’ve never seen bigger fish, worse shipwrecks, grizzlier lumberjacks or anything that compares to the pictures on the walls there. The prices are very reasonable for Ketchikan. There is a lot of local color in there too as it is a watering hole for a lot of the locals. They have the answer all their questions and I guarantee that they are very willing to share their knowledge with you. So, when you go there, don’t forget to stop at...

Great Bar when you wanna just hang out with friendly people. The Bar staff are Kind Friendly and Engaging. I wanted to do a ā€œshout outā€ to my favs. And then realized I adore all of them. Great job ā€˜DoughHeads’!!! (Is that a thing?) 🤣 My Very Favorite part of the ā€˜Dough’ (as it is affectionately referred to by the locals) is getting lost viewing the Many pictures that hang on the walls. Each wall is packed with visually documented SouthEast Alaska History and IF, you ask, there is usually someone close by that has a personal connection to one or more of the images hanging and are excited to share their experiences. Of course if you wanna Watch your favorite sports team play, there always seems to be a game on the screens. AND the usual ā€˜bar’ games, pool darts pinball haveA place here too They also have a working Shuffle Board AND Old School Ms PAC-MAN (sit...

I forget the first bartender cannot lie, but it is Saturday April 12th but went out on Friday night- jet lag from VA. whoever was on tonight was great-I am a server of 10+ years. Great bartenders, easy to buy Bacardi – I used to work at a Cuban rum bar, so I’m picky about my rum as someone with Spanish people in my family, and everyone was very very kind considering I’m not from Alaska/from Texas/the east coast/ they helped me get a cab as a usual public transport girlie- I don’t drive due to visual disability, and they didn’t make me feel dumb for knowing nothing about my new state!

was my first time there; lovely time, all the bartenders are great, and I’m a server so it was just just a joy to be there with my date.

Will def be back! Similarly to 49ers, as a Cajun it reminds me of all the best parts of Texas/louisiana/true southern hospitality :) thank u for...
