Read moreThe visitors centre just right next to the port where the cruise ship docked. It was a rainy day when we reached this first city in Alaska. The staffs are very polite and informative. We arrived during the USA Memorial Day, we are quite lost if we were able to visit all the places as planned. Staffs are patient informing us where can we go in the town. And kind enough to tell us about the free shuttle bus service, it’s really saved us a lot in such a rainy day. You may also collect the walking tour map to have a good guide in the city. Outside, there is The Rock sculpture you should take a photo, The Rock tells the story of how Alaska's First City came to be, each sculpture has its own representation of the city, interesting!
