Alaska Coffee — Restaurant in Ketchikan

If I could give 0 stars for service I would. Easily one of the most unpleasant coffee shop experiences I’ve ever had. The staff at Alaska Coffee were incredibly rude — not just inattentive, but actually hostile. It felt like they had no interest in offering decent service or basic respect. This goes for 1 older lady employee and the cook in the back. The rest of the workers were very nice.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food (while multiple people who had been behind us received their orders), and when we asked about the delay, the older lady at the counter snapped that if we hadn’t ordered such a big bag of food, it would’ve been faster. Seriously? Blaming the customer for ordering from your own menu?

Meanwhile, the cook in the back was yelling so loudly and aggressively that the front staff actually came over to apologize for how he was speaking to us. It was uncomfortable, chaotic, and downright unprofessional.

There are too many good local spots to waste your time (or money) being treated like an inconvenience. I will absolutely...

I wish I could give this establishment a ZERO. First off, It took twenty five minutes for two grilled cheese sandwiches. When asking for a refund as we were about to miss our excursion, we were rudely cut off by some old lady who had been doing nothing the entire time but sitting in her phone. They ignored our request for a refund as the “chef” yells out infront of the entire store, “If someone is complaining tell them to look around, We’re busy!”. The old lady previously mentioned then decides to put her input in again saying, “ Well what’d you expect? You ordered this huge bag of food?!” Overall, the food was average, but overpriced with rude, low class employees. Will never visit or recommend this low quality...

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! ☕️ i’ve been here three times this week but i wish it was everyday. The coffee blend used is so delicious and not bitter. I highly recommend a hot White Mocha or the Lotus energy Drink! Lots of flavor options. I ended up buying one of every blend to try at home and i love them, the blends are sold all around ketchikan too. The breakfast bagel was yummy as well!
