We called in to see if they were open because it’s Easter. Rather than just being nice and telling us the time they closed, she said “our hours are online” with an attitude. When we got in there she was taking our order and her attitude was terrible. We were ordering and we wanted a side so we asked what they had for sides and she pointed to the sign where it says dressing. So we politely said no I mean like side foods and she got snappy at us and said I just showed you it’s right here and then pointed where the salads were. She barely spoke to us at all and when we finally got our food we made sure to say thank you and she ignored us and walked away. She did this not only once but three times. As we were eating we found a big black hair in our food. We waited for that side salad and it never came so we spoke up and she brought it to us and dropped it on the table. We said thank you once again and were ignored as she walked away. I normally like KBs I have had a few bad experiences with customer service in other KBs restaurants as well. Not my 1st bad experience here. This is the 3rd time they half thrown my burrito together with no TLC. All of the meat on bottom, rice and beans at top, have to eat half the burrito to get to the good part. Back in the day KBs was good, but I have been disappointed every time I have come into both locations the last couple of years. Service is shotty, and food thrown together like nobody cares. It's amazing that they have received any Valley Best awards. Makes me wonder if anyone has actually tried the burritos from elsewhere, where they are cheaper and better put together. I have been a loyal customer for years. Not because it's the best food, but I have always enjoyed and wanted to support the family behind the restaurant. Tonight, when we went in for takeout and to celebrate my birthday, Angel Serva was extremely rude over a birthday certificate I had received via email for a mere $7.50 off. The certificate wasn't honored because I was told to come back tomorrow with the email printed out per Serva. It wasn't at all about the birthday gift certificate but how rudely I was treated as a loyal supporter for years.
