Courthouse Deli — Restaurant in Key West

After eating their sandwiches and custard ice cream, I can immediately tell you guys that I have committed buying the usual for lunch, which is the Cuban Mix and the Raspberry Chocolate Chip! Not only do they have fresh ingredients and tasty recipes, but they also have a passion to make good sandwiches for the ones that need it. I am very satisfied with the people who take care of the premise and their outstanding methods of running a wonderful business. They are very upkeep with their position and the energy around the premise is very strong and welcoming. If you're looking for a nice lunch on lunch break or ice cream on a extremely hot day, Courthouse Deli is the right place for you! I got a double chocolate milkshake and boy, even the medium was large. It was a standard chocolate milkshake with bits and pieces of dark chocolate mixed in. It was very delicious. Pricing was okay at about nine dollars for the medium. My only complaint (I’m being very picky here) is that service took about 5 to 10 minutes because there was only one staff member working at the time that I went, and the place was not the cleanest. Also, there is very limited seating inside, but as long as it is warm, (always is) there should be plenty of seating outside. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of my drink before I drank it, but I did include a picture of what the cup looks like afterwards (medium size). It was suggested from the activities person at our resort to try this deli. She also mentioned the homemade custard. So we hopped in the car and drove downtown at around 8:00. The place is unassuming sitting on the corner. BUT, let me say the food was really good. We got The Cuban and the Italian sandwiches. Both were hot, delicious and plentiful. Of course when the owner gave us a taste of the day's custard flavor, black raspberry chip, we had to get a pint to go. I am looking forward to going back for one of the amazing sounding milk shakes.
