Everything on the menu was so enticing, my dining companion and I couldn’t help but order as if we were feeding a high school rugby team. I was stunned by the flavor and texture of the jerk chicken (the friendly proprietor told us that he brines the meat and allows it to sit in the jerk rub overnight). The brisket was cooked beautifully, succulent at every turn, and the the burnt ends are what bbq dreams are made of. The vegetable dishes we tried- carrots, sweet potatoes and curried cauliflower- with tender herbs and complementary drizzles of bright condiments, deserve to cozy up with every beautifully executed cut on the menu. As someone who is wild for all things salty and briny, the delight of the chef’s STAR FRUIT pickle is unrivaled in my book. Eaton Good was without question the best meal we had on our trip, my only lament is that we did not order the Mac and Cheese before it had run out. Get there early and get there now, this place will soon be on...
Read moreI just ate at newly opened Eaton Good in Key West and it's safe to say that it's my new favorite restaurant in Key West! The relaxed ambiance coupled with the friendly staff makes for a wonderful dining experience. But the real star of the show is the food! It's absolutely fantastic.
I highly recommend the brisket and ribs. They were cooked to perfection, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. And don't forget to try the sides! The curried cauliflower was my absolute favorite, but the roasted carrots were a close second. The flavors were incredible and really complemented the main dishes.
The staff at Eaton Good are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to help with any questions you may have. They really make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great time.
Overall, I would highly recommend Eaton Good to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a relaxed environment. The food is top-notch and the staff is amazing. I can't wait to come back and try...
Read moreWe found this place on google and stayed just around the corner so we could walk it. When I say we were so happy we found it, I mean it! It’s tiny and simple. But once you try the food you understand immediately that it doesn’t need anything else. The owner was working the front counter, a younger guy who moved from Philly running his bbq shop in floridas southernmost island. We got four pulled pork sandwiches, two with mac n cheese, one with potato salad and one with the cauliflower. The bbq sauce is Smokey and has a little heat but on the back end has some sweetness that he kindly informed us of from the mango trees out back. Everything was amazing! Was so good that two of us came back the next day for the pork belly and brisket. Both were even better than I expected. The brisket was some of the juiciest brisket I’ve ever eatin in my life. Bravo to the gentleman for running his tiny, simple but amazing joint. We...
