The Dive Bar Shirt Club — Restaurant in Key West

I have been a member for over 4 years. The shirts are of the highest quality. They fit very, very well and last forever. They are a blend, so none of that stretching or wear that comes with 100% cotton shirts. They keep coming up with the coolest, most obscure bars. The prints are never run of the mill but rather well designed and artistic. I cannot tell you how many times I am asked, "Where did you get that shirt." I have never once thought of opting out. If you like T-shirts, then I suggest giving the club a try. The only issue I have is that when my 23 year old son comes to visit, I often find a number of them missing after he leaves. I really wanted to love this subscription — the concept of getting T-shirts from real dive bars is super cool. But after receiving 9 shirts and spending over $230, I’ve only worn 2 of them. Most of the shirts were either plain (like the basic white ones) or came in weird colors that didn’t match the vibe of the bar. The quality of the fabric also felt cheap, which made it even harder to justify the price.

It’s a fun idea, and I think it could work if the shirts felt more unique and well-made. But right now, the value just isn’t there. I’m disappointed overall, but if things improve down the road, I’d be open to giving it...

Atmosphere: extremely creative, fun and well placed unexpected things just to induce laughter and conversation. Food: the best tacos and queso on the island. I was informed the owner comes in each morning early to make the brisket and the queso from scratch. Ice cold beers served in “take home” aluminum cups that kept the beers cold. Service: The bartenders are quick to engage and serve. We had several children and they were more than happy to pull out fun unique games. The noise did not phase the staff. Quick service with all smiles.
