CAVA — Restaurant in Kildeer

I had an experience that happened on Sunday, October 5. I have placed an order for pick up, but as soon as I arrive to the store around past 10 PM the door was already locked. I had to call and kept calling for someone to open the door until someone finally opened it and got the order, there were other bags sitting on the shelf, but as I saw, they were already closing down the line knowing that the business closes at 10:30 PM on Google and it was posted on the door as well. That’s why I was confused why they were already closing early on Sunday. Business hours here are inconsistent. I come in here on weekdays and there’s still food on the line at 10:30 PM but when I come on the weekends, especially Sunday door will be locked or either food or toppings will be missing on the line. I had to call in today to make sure what time would they be closing as I don’t wanna be driving and waste my time that I find myself like an inconvenience for them whenever I come in past 10 hopefully this gets sorted out with their business hours in...

I ordered for the first time today! I ordered to falafel bowls and 2 lemonades. I received my bowls and they were really good but upon asking for my drink from the door dash driver. He indicated that my drinks were not given to him upon pick up. I called store and was told the manager stepped out. I asked for a call back and did not receive one in under 20 mins so I called back. I asked that they have my drinks delivered as they been paid for and the young man kept talking over me telling me that they can not deliver my items and that, it is their fault but only option was to call a third party and request a drink. I thought this would be a good experience but it turned out to be agitating, a disappointment, no recovery for my drinks, and my and husband left to drink water rather then a flavorful beverage we thought go well blended with what we got. Very disappointing. I ask to speak to a manager and it was avoided by all cost!! Why? Does the manager not care to resolve...

Similar to a Roti or Naf Naf in terms of options, quality, presentation. Chipotle-esque model of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food which is fine.

I did enjoy the food. Being that I just discovered this spot, I ordered a rice bowl with a plethora of toppings so that I could sample the options. I'll admit the proteins I had ordered were kind of skimped. Chicken shawarma was an upcharge option and I didn't receive very much. The falafel are like a third the size you'd get at an authentic Lebanese joint and had no crunch. Though, overall, the combination of toppings that I ordered with it did bring the bowl together with some nice flavors.

I'll probably add this spot to my rotation though this location in Kildeer is such a pain in the... The traffic.. these parking lots.. ehh. Still holding my breath for a Mediterranean spot to set...
