Absolutely horrible experience! Order online and my husband picked it up for me. When he got home a couple things were missing. My red velvet cheesecake being the most important to me because it looked so good. So I called to let them know items were missing. He was less than friendly on the phone, but none the less took took my name and told me I could come pick it up anytime. I did ask if it could just be refunded but he didn't even address that so I'm assuming that means they couldn't. So my husband goes back to pick up my food and some man comes from the back hollering she already came through here and got her hush puppies and cheesecake and now you back trying to get free seconds. I never left the house during the whole fiasco so I don't know who they gave free food to but it wasn't me. My husband even showed them my email receipt with my order on it. They did not give him the hush puppies and I still didn't get my red velvet cheese cake, just a rather small piece of the plain. I'm sure they see people try to scam for free food often but to act that way to someone willing to drive back and show the receipt to try to correct the problem is the most petty and unprofessional thing I've ever heard of. While the food i got was good I will not return here for anything. If I want captains ds I'll drive to another one somewhere else in the tri cities. For the price you pay for the food and the appearance of classier fast food they try to project I expect better out of the managers. If I wanted to deal with a strung out looking bum id go to one of the lower tier...
Read moreMy husband and I came here for dinner last night on 3/15/24 around 8pm. Both of us worked yesterday and we are Catholic so during Lent we eat fish on Fridays, and we were starving. The lady at the front counter was high on something and was shaking so bad she could barely do anything. The “manager” on duty (I think his name was Mark) was definitely also high on meth. It was a long time before they brought our food to the table and when they did, I had a long hair cooked into my rice and hanging off the side of my plate. There was no apology, no one ever came back to the table to let me know what was going on. I had to go up to the counter. The lady said “he’s fixing it for you” and at that point I just asked for a refund. No one ever came back out to talk to me so I just went back and sat down and watched my husband eat. We had to stand there and wait on the manager to tell me that he already issued us a full refund. I didn’t get to eat dinner last night. Thanks a lot, Captain Ds. It sounds like you all need to start doing random drug testing on your employees and maybe hire some people who are...
Read moreNot a professional merchant with some strange behavior, very noisy a black guy with a gray beard. He seems to be a grown man, but he behaves like a teenager. First of all, it was "Hey" instead of a polite greeting... no respect for the customers. Then he couldn't hear the name on the order, and after I corrected him he started saying the name in a deliberately pretentious and irritated way, as if he was proving something to me, plus he's very annoyingly loud. Looking at me with a smirk. What a character! He started telling another customer about me for some reason, "he works for Doordash", he repeated it several times, and I was standing next to him and was shocked at the way he was talking about me in my presence. I don't know how I had the patience, but how do you explain to a silly character that it's not right to behave like that, he just wouldn't understand. I held back and canceled the order. How do they hire such shallow people who want to assert themselves in the workplace? I think such characters have no place working...
