The family wanted a sweet treat, so we checked it out. The ice cream was good but not as good as I thought it would be. The red velvet on a cone can be messy. Just a heads up, you might consider a cup and spoon instead. The peanut and chocolate coated cone was too crunchy and a bit hard to bite. I personally prefer Paco Pop's cones. Also, the ice cream flavors at MSC aren't as good as Michoacan's ice cream, in my opinion. So, although we enjoyed our ice cream, it isn't the best in town. Aside from missing the mark on flavor, it was a bit too pricey for me to be quite honest. For (2) chocolate dipped cones coated with chopped peanuts and (2) scoops of red velvet ice cream (per cone), I spent a little under $20. My experience today 2/17 . My partner and I with our son were in the mood for some ice cream after dinner. This is my son and wife’s favorite place for ice cream. We were greeted with ugly stares as soon as we pulled in. Mind you it’s 8:45 pm so not too far from closing. And then we weren’t greeted everyone was rude, and didn’t even feel taken care of. I know it was close to closing, but they had about 15 minutes remaining, and I was still trying to be considerate. I get it you’re ready to go. Came in around 8:50 PM on a busy Saturday night. Staff were quick, ice cream was great no complaints there. What bothered me was seeing an employee walk into the cookie cake area, get on her phone, and start scratching her head and touching her face, all without washing her hands. She stayed behind the glass the entire time. As someone in the food industry, that’s a major red flag. Basic hygiene like handwashing and putting hair up should be second nature, especially when near food. Please make sure your team is up to date on food safety training.
