The prices on the menu skyrocketed when minimum wage went up, It's like they're passing their grief on to the customers, which is very unprofessional. 40 to 60% higher, I was shocked. Ordered soup, but it was a little weird tasting. Almost seafood, like, and it was chicken soup. They did not have any side orders on the menu, Or prices, things like soft drinks, tortillas, beans, rice guacamole. You know, side orders? Maybe you had a smaller kid with you. That was 6 or 7 years old, and you wanted to get something small for them. They will definitely accommodate you, but it's not on the menu, so you don't know what to expect. As far as prices go! I will not be coming back. Because of the unprofessionalism Of how they have handled pricing. And slapping the customers, with there so-called grief of minimum wage hike, i came about 630 on a Saturday and the place was practically empty. I believe a lot of restaurants we'll go under. Because they do not want to pay their employees and want to pass on that increase to the customers. It's like you're slapping us in the face. You're customer, I don't get it really. You cannot tell me for 1 second. Because I have been a father, of 4 and grandchildren, of 8, that, I don't know what I'm talking about. It seems like restaurants these days. Have been hiking their prices even before, Minimum wage went up by 40 to 50%. When you buy in quantity the increases should not be that bad At this steep rate. Greed has been kicking in these restaurants and retail people, and they are not stopping because of greed. There Ingredients are very cheap to buy very cheap. Most people in the world cook at home, and they know what the real cost is. That's why Mexican food? It's really cheap to make, and it should not be this. I when you're paying $20, 4 Enchiladas Which is nothing more than tortillas? A little cheese sauce and a little pit of chicken or beef. That is ridiculous restaurants unfortunately will drive themselves out of business. That's right themselves out of business and try to blame it on minimum wage hikes and ingredients. There's no excuse 4 them whatsoever to justify these type of prices. You know, you are being taken of vantage. When a soda cash $5 and they don't want to put the price on the menu and 3 tortillas cost you 395 and beans a spoonful, 495, like I said. They the owners and Management are greed, mongers and are doomed because of...
Read moreI had a very bad lunch experience here for lunch today. I ordered their #1, a tamale and enchilada. I said "chicken on both." And the waiter left. The first thing I noticed, when I got my meal, was that the plate was chipped and had a sharp edge. I would have ignored this, had I not had any other problems.
The next thing I noticed was that the tamale was not chicken.
Then, while eating the chicken enchilada, I bit down on a small chicken bone, that broke my crown. I kept it and put it on the table.
I slid my plate to the edge of the table to signify that I was done with it. Several minutes sitting there, the waiter walked by, while asking, "all done then?" Walking too fast for me to reply, so I just blurted out "yes."
When he brought the bill, I pointed out the chip on the plate, for which he didn't seem at all concerned. Then I mentioned that the tamale was not chicken. His reply was that they don't have tamales with chicken. I suggested next time he should probably mention that beforehand.
And, finally, I mentioned the bone, and pointed to it on the table. He seemed unphased.
He left with my credit card, then came back with the ticket, no discounts, not even an offer to pay for my Arnold Palmer.
I will never go here again. I will go to Azteca, just down the road. There, they treat...
Read moreHorrible experience at this place. I would like to completely avoid it in the future. Please say away!!
Placed a to-go order over the phone, as they were not accepting doordash orders and had to go pick it up in person. I had to call them thrice to place an order, first time the lady hung up on me in the middle of taking the order. The second time they put me on hold and disconnected after a couple of mins. Finally was able to place an order on the third try.
When I arrived at the restaurant, they told me that they ran out of chips and salsa. You are a Mexican restaurant, come on! How do you run out of chips and salsa?
Then they added a 4% surcharge to the payment. On asking them about it, they first told me that my bank added it. Upon questioning them on it, as to why my bank would charge me that amount, they changed the story and told me it want not the bank, but the state of Washington that charges it. Again, why would the state of Washington charge me that? No other business does! They just want to change an additional 4% to their customers and come up with random lies to justify it.
Finally, the food did not taste the great, much better Mexican restaurants in the area, will stay away and advise you the same.
Horrible overall experience!!...
