I wish I could leave 5*!! The concept is great and a tea room is absolutely needed in Klamath Falls. A lot of time and attention had been given to decorations and the place looks great. It was fun going at Christmas time and the place was adoringly decked out with Christmas stuff.... But.... I would have preferred regular tea things. I would have found them prettier. Santa plates are a little kitsch. That's just personal taste, obviously. Really the only problem was the service. Right away our very nice server told us that the service might be slow because they had two big group in. That's okay... But it's kind of like saying, "we can't do our jobs well." Actually, there was only one big group and they left before she even took our order so... I don't know... The second oddity, was that she explained that they're changing their format, they used to guide you through the tea chosing, but it was just too time consuming, so they're going to be labeling the teas and leaving them on the tables for the customers to do it themselves. That's fine. So she left us with the teas... But... They don't have the labels yet, so naturally it was impossible to work out which of the green teas was which. I found it bizarre to implement the new program before they were actually ready to. As promised, we did have to wait ages for our food. Not such a big deal, but I didn't see why they couldn't have gone ahead and served our tea while we waited. Tea then finally came with the food... But, and this was the worst, and the reason I had to give three stars. It was merely lukewarm!! On a cold snowy day. Lukewarm tea. So sad. I had to ask for milk - which wasn't offered. She then volunteered honey. The milk came... But it wasn't milk. It was half and half. I wish they'd been specific and said, "we don't offer milk, would creamer be okay?" (Side - in England, it would be just milk.) Or indeed, if they have milk, had brought milk. The honey didn't come; had to ask again.
Okay - the good - as I said the server was really nice.. The food was good! I really enjoyed everything, nice assortment, yummy scone - real clotted cream (sadly in a jar, but I expect it's very difficult to get it any other way). Delicious lemon curd. All around lovely. The sandwiches were really good - a nice variety, lovely fresh mozzarella. And very filling! I could have done with two scones, though... Especially since that's like, the main event. The waitress then disappeared forever. Finally, returned and asked if we'd like more tea. My second pot was a little hotter, but still too cool. At this point, when we were basically done, she told us that we had a bell on the table to ring if we needed anything... Wish I'd known that earlier in the proceedings when my tea was served lukewarm and she never reappeared.
Conclusion: Could be excellent. Maybe I was there on a bad day.... But at 35$ per person one feels there shouldn't really be bad days. There should be quick service, hot tea, and the bell should be introduced from the start, especially on a day when you've already acknowledged that your service...

We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Nana's, and it was truly a magical experience! The owner went above and beyond to make it special for us. They even adjusted their hours to fit our daughter’s school schedule, staying open late just for us. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the thoughtful details—there were beautiful birthday decorations and the owner even wore a birthday costume while serving tea! She even brought a high chair and tea set for the doll, which delighted our daughter to no end. The tea and food were absolutely delicious, but what made the experience so unique was the entire atmosphere—it wasn't just a meal, it was a fun activity and family experience. We felt like we were part of something truly special. Thank you for making our daughter's birthday one she'll always remember! Planning on making it an annual tradition....
Read moreMy daughter and I went to Nana's to have a traditional tea service for her birthday. The place was very nicely decorated and had themed rooms as well as the main room up front. Our waitress was very good despite being a bit overworked by herself as more customers arrived. We ordered the $38 traditional tea service with unlimited tea. Each tea we tried was served in it's own pot however it was a small amount (8oz) so we had to repeatedly ask for more. Our meal came on a 3-tier tray with equivalent of a sandwich cut into 4 triangles, a bitesize scone with a spoonful each of clotted cream, lemon curd and jam and the top tier had three bitesize cookies. The bill was over $90 and we we left still hungry. Definitely consider the value when thinking bringing...
