We had an order delivered yesterday and it included brownies. When they arrived, they were raw except around the edges. When I called to complain, I was basically accused of lying because apparently they receive the brownies fully baked from the distributor and all Papa Johns does is warm them up and then sell them. It was infuriating. They were nearly liquid in the middle and everyone in my home saw and can attest to it. Also, as a side note, I always ask for light cheese on my pizza and I bet they've gotten that right maybe 10% of the time at most. It seems like no one there is reading any special instructions. I'm done with Knightdale's Papa Johns. They aren't checking the quality of what they deliver before it leaves the store and they're not concerned with special requests, even though light cheese is an available option just like extra cheese is. The accusation of lying was the last straw. Obviously not a soul there is checking quality before food leaves the shop, and they couldn't care less about customer...
Read moreI order here regularly for my kids. Especially my younger loves Papa John's Pizza. He is autistic and has specific places and foods he loves. I would have given 5 stars if the last 3 times I ordered the pizza would've been like I usually order.
Not to go to deep into details but my son loves more sauce and less cheese on his pizza and the past 3 times he didn't even want to finish the piece he took a bite off (he usually eats half a medium pizza).
He started peeling the cheese off, which was not less than I had asked for, and when looking at the pizza, there was like no sauce or maybe just a bit "brushed" on. So, I am a bit disappointed these past 3 orders, and it would be my only complaint with the food to just pay more attention to the incoming order slips.
Prime time can be a hectic one, and I totally understand that there's many orders coming in, but 3 times in a row so far.... Hope to get the right order next time because Fridays are our...
Read moreEntered the store and everyone appeared to be tied up because I wasent acknowledged until a few minutes later. When I was finally addressed, I stated it was a pick up order and upon payment, I provided a coupon. The employee was visibly upset, explaining that it was an online coupon. The coupon did not state exclusively it had to be online, only that upon tender it needed to be surrendered. Again, this was a pick up order, not even a delivery. I registered an account in store, foods getting cold. When it was all sorted, I asked the employee if he thought the pizza was cold. Again, the visible distress, so I apologized for the inconvenience and left with my luke warm pizza. This is my last trip to Papa John's. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Do what you will with...
