Boba Team — Restaurant in Knightdale

At approximately 7:00 PM, we purchased two beverages from a boba tea establishment at a cost of approximately $16. However, we observed a significant food safety violation. The employee retrieved black gloves from the handwashing sink, which we mistakenly believed to be a new pair. After drink preparation, she placed the equipment in the sink for washing and then proceeded to wash her hands while still wearing the gloves. Subsequently, she wiped her gloved hands on a cloth towel before removing the gloves and placing them back on the handwashing sink. This failure to discard the gloves raises serious concerns regarding food safety protocols and has rendered the beverages unenjoyable. We are extremely disappointed with this lapse in hygiene and consider the purchase a regrettable waste...

The drinks are very good. They taste amazing. The place is exceptionally clean. We tried the strawberry milk, Thai tea and matcha . *The brown sugar boba pearls were very chewy and just underwhelming . That was disappointing for myself and kids. I would recommend changing the recipe or if you order them .. order from another company… they taste like they came from a package purchased at the supermarket.
