sat 1-11-25 A disclaimer to Cain's staff and environment. Went in and spent over 55 dollars for their tailgate package for the Ravens game. Bunch of tenders and a bunch of texas toast.
The person taking the order didn't seem to care all that much, not to mention she had more tattoos than a prison inmate. I can't believe that Cain's wants someone with spider tattoos and the word (redrum - murder) tattooed on their arm. That tells me a lot about their life choices and that they probably don't care about my food, nevertheless them in general... and I'm supposed to trust this person with my food. If that's the face of your company, I can order chicken from a local rest. and not get the standoffish attitude or feel that I'm ordering chow from the local prison.
they put everything in a large grocery type bag, which sat for almost 10 minutes. What gets me is that the chicken was the first thing done, so it was the coldest. The texas toast was half thawed and half cooked. For 55 dollars, they simply rushed it along, then gave me chicken that was half cold. You'd figure they'd cook the chicken first, then put it on a warming plate until the rest of the order was complete, then load it all in the bag at the same time. Once again, 57 dollars for this... Burger King is high too but I could've spent half the amount and at least had hot food.
I've eaten at Cain's before and it's usually hit or miss but after spending that amount of money and receiving subpar food and giving my order to a tattooed up, pierced up "person" that doesn't seem to take their job seriously or even have some sort of a preliminary work dress code, that was definitely it... I'll be going elsewhere. You think that paying more money would indicate better environment and better service but seems that Cain's just wants to be another Popeyes or another KFC, which they...
Read moreNow that I have been here a handful of times, I now have a good baseline on how I feel about them. So yeah, the business model is pretty solid. There is not much variance in options here. That's what allows the business to run as smoothly as it does. Good in them. Service is pretty quick. Especially with dine-in service. The drive-through definitely can take longer, especially if there is a line of cars as there normally is. However, due to how it operates, the line tends to move in a timely fashion considering. The windo staff double-check the order before it goes out the window to assure the order is as on the ticket, that was appreciated. The chicken is always completely on point as consistently with such a product can be hit or miss depending on the circumstances. Sometimes, you'll get some pieces that may be a bit soggy on one side and maybe some tendon textures, which can be unpleasant. But all in all, it is fairly consistent. The lemonade is real... and in my book says a lot.go check it out...
Read moreMy chicken tenders were not crunchy. They were soggy but sadly that is not the worst part of my review. I witnessed an employee being told to leave before their shift was over because the shift manager could not handle their own self and their own shift as their job entails. It is very sad to witness the potential of this business. Go right down the drain because certain individuals cannot handle their job. You have workers trying to get their children back. You have workers that have to pay to get to work because their vehicle has no breaks and they have to wait until they can get paid to fix their vehicle and yet you still have managers who cannot handle their job description. It's despicable and pathetic and honestly this establishment will not last in Kokomo with this type of behavior. Also, the parking for this establishment is completely retarded. Literally you had all of Kokomo and you chose this corner with the smallest parking lot for one of the biggest new restaurants. How...
