Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Kokomo

I've visited this steak and shake on July the seventh. My order was messed up and I politely called back to let the manager know that they had more customers coming through that day and then that they might wanna pay attention to that. My first cow meal was not even barely grilled. And they didn't get me. My extra sauce and my fries were cold so so she stated that next she would take my name and next time I was there that she would replace my mails. Now I was at that stake and shake yesterday July the 29th and I walked in there and asked for the manager. A gentleman walked out and asked to help me and I explained the situation and told him that my name was on the list and he said he didn't know what I was talking about. But there his manager that the other person does not communicate well with him and there's no such thing as a list. And II explained, I wasn't fibbing to him and he said well, he asked what happened. I told him blame that she was gonna replace my said. Where's your receipt? I said I don't have a receipt. They said what you have to have a receipt. He said otherwise it's considered bad. I said Wait a minute. He said he would replace at this time. But next time I have a receipt. So he started to fix the food. And so I sat down with my daughter and waited and he just kept going on about how this other manager wasn't reliable and that she doesn't communicate with him and that. He wouldn't be basically wasn't happy about having to replace my food. You know, I wasn't trying to steal from him or applying for a fool. So then we asked for the drink that came with the meal and he said what just a minute and he had to go back and. He was rude. He was Curt and absolutely unprofessional I will never go back to that steak and shake again well, we got our food home and lo and behold the bread on the friskie mount was straight out of the loaf, it wasn't grilled, it hadn't even touched a grill. It was just like regular plane bread.I just wanted everybody to know my experience so...

The one star is for the late night management, and the extremely disrespectful way they treated their staff. I've never seen a more horrible dynamic than what I did last night while enjoying my meal. One server on the floor, 2 what appeared to be managers who didn't do anything to improve the quality of service we recieved. I felt bad for the server, stuck doing everything on what was a just the end of a rush, cleaning the tables, busing tables, making my desserts herself, having to help get food ready that wasn't ready (chicken that wasn't brought out from the freezer prior to last shift leaving). I felt bad so I left her a $20 tip to remind her she's doing a fantastic job. I then proceeded to the counter to pay my bill, where one of the managers was finally doing something, resetting the computer system for shut down while you still have a guest in house freaking awesome. As I proceeded out the door, the other manager was repremanding the server about the tip I gave her, and yelling to the other manager and kitchen cook about how this tip was going to be split, UTTER CRAP. Had I at least made it to the parking lot where I couldn't hear that Manger I'd not be making g this review right now. I would have left assuming the server recieved the full tip. But after hearing how things went as I barely left the building, you have managers that don't care about the facility or their employees and their hard work. Never again will I return to this...

Walked in man said hello from all the way back in kitchen and said I had to use the touch padd no other way. I’m 72 and I need help. One of the people came out very irritated to add the cheese and then left. I was still confused but got through the order, the ice was empty and no one told me to scan the for drink receipt so finally another girl came out and added ice to the machine. When my order was finished the girl just set it a table at the booth opposite of me..Ther was a hair in my burger I almost threw up . Dirty tables and not one customer in the store. Another older gentleman came on a the manager came out and helped him place his whole order.They said that customers c can only order at at kiosk. How many people are not capable of doing this I pointed to my car with the handicapped license placard .This used to be be such a nice place and the store was clean and thei staff friendly and helpful. This is was the steak and steak at the community Howard Hospital store connected to the parking lot. I have felt sick all day and vomiting.
