Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Kokomo

Went to celebrate a birthday dinner, picked here. Was nice and not busy. I'm pretty laid back, but we waited on refills, waited on food, waited waited waited, like a looong time. I got a wallby darned, was able to drink it all and wait and wait until waitress finally came back to ask if I wanted a refill. I'm talking 30 minutes for food to come out. Filets came out as medium well, instead of medium rare. And they were cold and overcooked. Yes, cold. She didn't even bring them out, another waitress stepped up and did. Finally, we told a random server we needed help with the filets since she never checked on us. He was very accommodating, and said they were put in wrong, and it was a computer error. Food was sitting and you could definitely tell, cheeses were cold and hard. She never cleared the table of dishes, which isn't a real big deal, but still. Gave us refills at the very end of our meal, despite asking earlier. The kids drinks stayed empty until i had to literally shout to get her attention to come over. I even sat them on the front edge, as the universal sign for "refill please " goes. She finally got another table besides ours, which was a large party. It was a complete nosedive for us from there. The kids got ice cream, and we ordered it to come out at the end of th meal. She brought it as they were still eating. I'm sure you can imagine how well they ate when the ice cream hit the table... Plus couldn't really make em wait, it's ice cream and warm in there. The manager came out without us asking at all. He took off the two meals of ours. We paid for the kids, even though they were supposed to get cheese fries and didn't, we didn't mention it. We just wanted to leave by then. Wouldn't have minded paying for it all, hence the reason we went there and ordered what we did. Just would have preferred a nice, family meal with decent wait service, as opposed to a free meal with a bored and hungry 3 and 7 year old kid. Which turned into a patience nightmare for us. I know and allow much patience for covid, work shortages, etc etc. But I guess I would definitely say not to waste your special day there until they figure a few things out. You'll just leave stressed and sad. Maybe order take out instead. Idk. Just giving my honest review to the...

This was a hail Mary. I like outback okay but my husband has had nothing but bad experiences everytime we go. Well tonight was no different but this time it went both ways, he got there 15 minutes before me the place was empty the only person who spoke to him was the lady behind the bar who told him he could come sit there. He politefully declined and said he would like a booth. By the time I got there someone was coming to see if he was there to pick up food. He said no and he was seated I came in and seated myself. We ordered myself filet mignon and him top sirlion we both ordered medium rare. I ordered a salad and he french onion soup, they came out at the same time. His cold and me with no silver ware. I finally caught the eye of a bus boy and he told the waiter I needed silverware. My husband didn't say one word because this was for me..He ate as much of his cold soup as he could and we waited on our steaks. Mine was very good his was nearly unedible because of the strings of sinue running thru the meat and it was almost raw. We took cheesecake to go he got chocolate and I got raspberry.. I pretty sure they stored the cheesecake next to some uncovered fish because that is what the cheesecake tastes like so need this to say this hail Mary.. killed...

We have been going to this outback steak house for some time now. Food was usually good excellent. When we went on 12/22/23 to celebrate my sons and my birthday. The steaks were horrible. I ordered medium well the outside was burnt and the middle was bloody most of the way. Both my sons, my wife's and mine were cooked incorrectly. I brought it up to our waitress Patricia ( which i must say was the bright spot of the evening she was great. She had a new steak brought out for me the others didn't want to send theirs back). The other steak arrived it was as bad if not worse then the other. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager Female did not get her name was rude, Offered to re-fire my burnt 2 steak's told her that wouldn't help . Because the outside was to burnt. I told her I wouldn't be back. She asked what you say. I repeated I wouldn't be back and had her look at the steaks . She mumbled something . You would expect when you are about to spend $300 or more on a dinner. She would have been professional. Offer to do something? The waitress came and gave us our check . Oh by the way the manager took off the 2 steaks. I think it should have been the manager explaining it. But again not professional. The bad thing was they were not busy at 5pm....
