Apparently I’m not the only one. Just look at the recent reviews! I used to work at Chick-fil-A for a few years so I know the Chick-fil-A way. The service I received on this day, 3/5/2025 was unacceptable. I placed an order online with the app for curbside. I was then informed my order would be about a 3 to 7 minute wait. OK, then it told me that my order was on the way and it took an additional seven minutes. I glanced back at the drive-through and made eye contact with one of the team members and she just carried on. There was no urgency to get any food out to the curbside. Once my order was brought to me, I checked my order to make sure everything was there. I discovered I was missing one original chicken sandwich. I had order two original chicken sandwiches and one spicy- 2 were a combo and 1 a free sandwich redeemed with points and then a kids meal. A pretty simple order. I got out of my vehicle and I tried to wave down somebody from the drive-through. They didn’t pay attention. OK I understand that they’re busy so I get my phone out and I call them. My call is promptly forwarded and nobody answered. I get in my car and I go around into the drive-through line and I explain to one of the team members my situation. She tells me to join the line again and go to the window and I asked if she could just go get the sandwich and bring it out here. When I worked I Chick-fil-A and we made a mistake - someone went back inside and they would promptly bring it out not make you join the line. I tell her I really need to get going and don’t have time to wait a long time. she assures me it won’t be a long time. I asked for a manager to meet me out there to my surprise when the manager comes, she comes empty-handed, knowing exactly what I’m missing. I explain my situation and why I am disappointed. She goes on to makes excuses saying that they are very busy and shortstaffed. I understand that things happen, but for them to just come out here and make excuses when I am literally giving them my money for food is unacceptable. One thing I remember when I worked at Chick-fil-A was that my owner /operator always told us to make sure that the order was complete because people are literally paying for this food and for them not to even get what they are paying for is ridiculous. If y’all are busy and you’re still gonna take a long time to get people‘s orders out then please just double check. You have everything on the pick list. I almost went home missing a sandwich for one of my kids. That’s not cool. I do not live close to you guys to be going back-and-forth. For the time being I do feel like this location needs to have a look at and I think I will take my business to the new Chick-fil-A...
Read moreI love Chic Fil A, a little too much! I've been a regular customer for years, in different places I've lived all over Texas, and the service at this particular CFA is the worst I've ever experienced.
I have repeatedly spoken to them about their portion sizes, as their portions are tiny compared to other CFA's. As an example, they only fill the mac n cheese about 3/4 of the way, when they are charging $4+ for a tiny container. Their nuggets are also typically smaller than other locations, and more often than not, dried out. The only thing that makes them palatable is the Polynesian sauce.
In addition to the food issues, they seem to have major staffing issues. The one reason I used to continue to come to this location was their staff was super sweet, but over the past year, they've had almost a complete turnover, and their new employees seem to genuinely hate their jobs. They are not friendly and do a truly half ass job at customer service.
Last, but not least, one of my favorite employees was a young man with an intellectual disability. He was the friendliest guy, always taking the time to stop and ask how my day was going and pet my sweet pup who comes along for the ride. A few months ago, after he was gone for a few weeks, he told me he had been suspended because a customer complained about him. I don't know the whole story, but I took the time to ask to speak to a manager and ask if I could write a commendation for this man, as his customer service towards me had been incredibly for over a year. She told me there was no way to submit a compliment for an employee. That seemed incredibly odd, as that is possible...everywhere. Within a few weeks, he was gone, and I never saw him again. I truly hope that the management at this CFA didn't terminate an intellectually challenged person because some customers are entitled and can't show some patience for someone with challenges.
I hope corporate sees these reviews and looks into...
Read moreI hadn’t been to this location in a long time due to their terrible customer service and just plain stinginess with condiments. I spent $25 and they wouldn’t give me three of the packets of hot sauce. I had to call the manager over to get that. MOVE AHEAD TO THIS VISIT: Food was mediocre. Service even worse Every time I would ask for something simple, like a refill, it was, “I’ll be right with you”. It’s no longer a peaceful atmosphere to go and have a hot, fresh, right-on-time meal. The play area is no longer monitored. Children (that were too big for the area) were acting like heathens, running over my two year old grandson and making him cry. May I say, if the founder of Chick-fil-a were still alive, these things would never happen. His sons are running a lucrative business into the ground and it’s only a matter of time before this chain becomes like every other Burger King and McDonalds. The food quality has gone down(way down) and per-portions are smaller. I first noticed when I got the breakfast bowl. It smelled very odd. I believe it was the cheese, but not sure. 🤔 Tried it a couple more times, same deal. I read the story about ten years ago of how Chick-fil-a got started. He asked God, why do I keep failing. Where am I going wrong. His stated that God showed him to always put his staff and customers at the forefront of his thoughts. Here we are after his death and those values don’t stand anymore. They’re like every other business now. What...
