I am gonna start by telling yall that I really don't like Panda Express food ever since I got sick eating it, but I decided to give them another try. So our plans were to eat there but that quickly changed when we walked in and seen how lobby was and you will understand after reading this. I'm glad I gave Panda Express another try cause the food was good and didn't get sick eating it this time so I will gladly eat there again. Now as to the whole experience was I will tell u. Employees were busy gettting people's food out to them like they should be so no other interaction until u were ordering your food but when it was your turn they were nice and friendly. We were in there for 30 to 45 minutes that's how busy they were and we order off of the line. Now as for how long people had and were still waiting for their food if they weren't getting it off the line was very sad and wrong when we left there were people who was there before us still waiting on their food and that is wrong on so many different levels it ain't funny. but now as for the atmosphere and yes I understand that it was the dinner rush time. And as a person who has only worked at places like Panda Express weather it was being the Manger, shift leader or crew there was no excuse for how long people were waiting for their food if not getting it off of the line and the lobby was nasty. I could kinda understand the trash over flowing but when Manger or person working front register seen how dirty the lobby had became that there were no places to sit down and eat or that the people waiting for their food had to wipe food off of chairs just to be able to sit down. They should have done something about it like gotten out in lobby and wiped all tables and chairs off and at least emptied one trash can if not both then they could have went back to helping their team with orders then when rush was over went back out to lobby and finished cleaning the lobby and restrooms. We stopped by Panda Express in Kyle and had a pretty good experience overall. The food was fresh—my bowl with SweetFire Chicken and Fried Rice was delicious and well-balanced, and the Cheese Rangoons were crispy and flavorful. My wife’s bowl, however, had noticeably very little meat and lots of rice, which felt a bit off in comparison.
The restaurant was clean, and the team in the kitchen was moving quickly, especially handling drive-thru orders. That said, there were a few employees standing near the register while we waited to be served. As shown in the photo, there was only one customer in front of us, yet three employees appeared unoccupied at the counter. It gave the impression that front-line service could have been a bit more efficient.
When we got to the register, I said hello to the cashier (Janis), but didn’t receive a greeting back. While that’s a small thing, a friendly acknowledgment really sets the tone for good service.

Follow up of Raw Beef: Took product back through drive thru and showed it to someone claiming they were the manager. No name tag and no name given. They told me that is was not their beef. I explained to them that I was wanting any money back or comps of any kind because I was not returning anyway and they still said it was not their beef. Why would I wait 20 minutes in line just to show the raw beef and not want anything in return except that they would be more careful and get accused of bringing in something that was not from there ? Be very careful here with the food. Corporate will hear about this. I wonder if they would even care since they don't seem to know how to vet their managers. The way this person acted I am betting that more than one customer has notified the home office. There is a way better place in Kyle close to the Whataburger....
