MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Kyle

WONT BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION !!! I’ve been to many locations with great service and without any issues. First my kids are very limited to where they can eat due to their food allergies but MOD gives alternative to accommodate allergies. Prior to ordering 2 MODS I expressed to the line cook that my kids are very allergic to dairy. She was not reassuring really gave a sense of carelessness to the fact, and honestly I don’t think she was trained properly on how to handle food to prevent cross contamination when dealing with customers with food allergies. I as the parent should’ve called quits at that very moment but foolishly I proceeded with my order. Only because my kids have ate MOD pizza with no allergic reactions before. Sure enough my kids eat the pizza and started to break out in hives and running to the bathroom. Very disappointed in the service I received today and I’m sure cleanliness played a MAJOR part in this as well. The line was so nasty I asked her to pull everything from the bottom of the line. I’ve been in Kyle for 5 years and this location has really lost the drive of service and cleanliness cause overall the restaurant was nasty. Truthfully I’m the fool in all of this because even with all the red flags I still ordered. I love MOD pizza but this location had the worst customer service and quality I've ever been too. Three times they mixed my pizza up with some one else and twice they remade my son's mini wrong when it was a simple cheese pizza. When they finally foumd my pizza they had already put it in the oven while I was waiting to add toppings. Instead of making my mod over they took it out of the oven almost fully cooked then preceded to add the toppings I wanted. When finally receiving our pizzas my son's cheese pizza was all sauce and hardly any cheese when several times I asked for extra cheese and my pizza came out burnt. I understand it was busy but not one person out of the 10 working there offered to remake my burnt pizza and I mean burnt. The communication between employees was terrible as was the food and customer service. I'm not one to normally complain but after writing the company about my experience and hearing nothing back I felt it necessary to post on yelp. I love mods pizza and will continue to go to the south park location but I won't be returning here. Mod is perfect and amazing. I discovered them in Portland, OR. around 2010. $5 mini pizzas and unlimited toppings got me hooked. Now I’m paying $8 for a mini which makes me want to just order a mod size and save for the next day. I wouldn’t call this place cheap if you’re getting multiple items*

This location has been hit miss. I get a dismissive employee, poor pours on drafts, or improperly made items.

I do wish the company would make it easier to get your rewards - I don’t have an app for every single company/establishment I patron. Having the order ahead should be a standard now - that said mod does it and they do it well!

Their draft selection is limited or out of stock a lot of the time - tonight this pour seemed water downed or maybe wasn’t labeled properly.

Overall I love mod and always consider it when looking for something quick and delicious.
