My wife's great grandfather used to work for Kluh Jewelers a long time ago when their store was in downtown Olympia. His name was Ernie Belcher. When her Grandma was going through her jewelry collection before she passed, she decided to hand down a ring that he had made for her. It had been sitting in her armoire for quite some time.

Fast forward to this Christmas season, I wanted to do something special for her, so I got in contact with Matt Kluh. He walked me through every part of the process. It was awesome because he also remembered Ernie from his childhood working at the shop with his parents. While talking with Matt, I learned that when Ernie created it he used techniques that are no longer used today as a result of upgraded technology so handmade jewelry isn't really used anymore, and as a result the ring needed quite a bit of updating to protect the stones and they also needed to add some material to strengthen the ring while resizing it for my wife.

Even though it was in the thick of the Christmas hustle and bustle when the order went in they were able to find a way to have it done before Christmas! It was absolutely beautiful work and she loved it. Her face lit up alongside my daughter! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Matt and Suzanne Kluh for bringing new life and luster to a family heirloom that my wife now gets to enjoy daily.

She has received many compliments on it, and I hope that somewhere Ernie and Linda are smiling and proud of his gorgeous design work that is still glinting and bouncing each ray in the light of day.

You guys made such a special memory for me and my family, and I can assure you that you will be receiving any and all jewelry business from me. Excellent quality, knowledgeable staff, and fast service.

Tabitha and kluh jewelers where amazing to work with. It was a great experience and I will go back again for future jewelry needs. I needed to replace my girlfriends broken necklace and Tabitha was very helpful and explained the different types of chains and helped me pick out the right one. She was able to install the charms on it for me and even added a larger hoop on the end to make it easier to hookup. I was very impressed 👏 and to top it all off she boxed it up so nicely and wrapped it up! Si I would have the perfect surprise for my girlfriend. It went great and she was so surprised and very impressed! And I couldn't have done it with out Tabithas help and expertise! Thank you so much for your help and making my experience unforgettable. Not a fan of jewelry stores and a lot of the techniques and the “You know what they say….” junk that a lot of them employ. So picking something small and local seemed to have a lessened chance of all that. Working with Catie was easy enough and without any issue. She answered all my questions and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted made since it wasn’t something they had in their stock. The store is pretty small, but has a good inventory/selection and is organized well. The work on my purchase from the sizing to the mounting of gems seems to be good from what I can tell.

I’m knocking off one star for what I will admit is silly, but I think it’s a detail that takes away from the experience. I feel like if I’m going to come in and spend a couples grand in your store on a new purchase when I pick it up I should be walking out with it in something more than a paper envelope. I mean I buy a new car I’d expect a full tank of gas and not getting the needle on E. So yeah it might not seem like a big deal, but now I get to go shop online to order a box and wait for that to show up. Missed...
