Me and my husband tried this restaurant. The name sounds classy and with good food. I was completely wrong. 🙁The chicken wing appetizer we ordered looked good and crispy but it seemed like from a chicken fed with hormones. That’s the first time I’ve seen a humongous chicken wings. It’s about triple size of ordinary and regular chicken wings. This turned me off. My husband don’t care. He eats anything. The beef basil fried rice I ordered was not only soggy, the appearance or presentation of the food is very low in rate. I was very hungry so I tried to eat a bite or two, more on broccoli just to put something in my stomach. The beef seemed to be not fresh at all. It seemed like it has been thawed out in the refrigerator for days. The flavor of the fried rice is not good at all. After 3 bites, I stopped eating. It was a huge plate serving. The waitress asked how’s everything. I just told her how I feel about the chicken wings. She told the owner and the owner came to talk to me and ask what seemed to be the problem. She said they get complains before that the wings are small so she ordered large wings. I told her that it is not the regular size of chicken wing. In my mind, it almost as the size of drumsticks.I said I mostly eat organic food and meat but not 100 percent, I also eat regular food rarely. She said she told her children there’s no such thing as healthy food anymore. I said sure there is. That’s why organic food are more pricy because they are guaranteed good for health. Anyway, I did not complain about the fried rice anymore. I don’t want them to feel so bad. My husband took the chicken wings left over to go. When the owner ask if I want a box for the fried rice, I said no, it’s okay. That pretty much explained to them that I’m not happy with that food. I just don’t want to tell them more bad things on their face about their food. Also, as soon as we entered the restaurant, I’ve seen about two flies inside. This already turned me off. People that are not used to Asian food, they may think they all taste good. They need to try other Asian restaurants. More classy and tasted excellent and with good presentation. This restaurant might need a...
Read moreOrdering on-line was very easy. Received text messages so I knew the status of our order. The driver called to ask if we were in an apartment or condo (we were at a hotel). We were already in the lobby to meet the delivery.
Unboxed our dinner. No flatware or napkins. Thankfully there's a breakfast bar at the hotel.
Our dinner: chicken satay looked like chicken tenders on a stick. Each stick (4) was one long piece of chicken. Absolutely no seasonings. Peanut sauce tasty but thin. Egg rolls, with the size, 2 would have been sufficient (the order comes with 4). Overbrowned, not burned. Lack of seasoning. Wonton soup. Not like any WonTon I have ever had. Again an absolute lack of seasoning. This was a glorified chicken noodle soup with no seasoning. Chicken fried rice, no seasoning.
Our go-to is Thai food. We were very disappointed with the quality of all 4 dishes. These dishes reminded us of the Chinese places outside of a military post (plenty of food, cheap and Americanized). We can't recommend...
Read moreCame here with my husband after braving Fred Meyer the evening before Thanksgiving for some last minute items. Most of the tables were full and there were several people waiting for takeout orders. There was only one very nice lady working the front - she was taking orders, bringing out food, cleaning tables, answering the phone! I was so impressed! I overheard her telling another customer that she had sent her help home early and just a few minutes later the dining room filled up. The service was great considering how obviously busy she was, at one point while we were waiting for our food (we dined in) the line of people waiting for take out was halfway to the front door! I was not surprised it was so busy after eating - the food was excellent!! It was my first time here and we will definitely be...
