Top details: Masks required. Seat yourself. No server comes to check on you during your meal. Server cleans up your table. Wheelchair accessible. Personal experience: I ordered a McAlister's Club and potato chips. The sandwich was bland and the chips had no flavor other than a bit of salt. The bread was low quality. The sandwich was cold. It seemed like something I could put together quite easily at home. Other guests liked the Berry Pecan Salad and they were glad they ordered a half size. If one used all the sauce provided, it'd be too sweet. The bathroom was very bright and the music was very loud. It was clean and fully supplied. The cleanliness of the entrance and main room was poor. Sand and other debris all over the floor. The servers were able to take orders efficiently and provide food in a timely manner. Nothing stuck out to be superb customer service.

The employee at the register was very easy-going, which was nice until I realized he also wasn't super motivated to get things quickly or to answer my questions knowledgeably. I saw a young female employee opening a bag of what looked like coffee grounds with her teeth, then pulling the torn part of the bag out of her teeth with her hands before pouring the grounds into the machine. We ordered an ultimate nacho to share, which was fabulous. They gave us an extra bowl of chips and side of sour cream without charge, which was a nice surprise. The music is obtrusively loud in the restrooms. UPDATE: here's an annoying thing ~ trying to get back on the road to indy, but every refill of sweet tea is messed up. What is McAlisters without sweet tea???

First time trying this deli. My husband loves an Italian sub but refused to try it because it had ham on it. Instead, he went with the New Yorker and loved it. He enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup. I tried the regular grilled chicken club. It was a little different than I expected, but it was ok. The potato salad was good. I will definitely go back and try other items.

Honestly one of the best take-out (in this case, via GrubHub) experiences I've ever had!

There is nothing better than a truly good deli, but they are harder and harder to find. I didn't expect to find "a truly good deli" in a chain, but I certainly stand corrected!

We decided to order sort of a "sampler" for our first one - two "half" combos: half sandwich & soup, and half salad and spud.

From a perfectly executed Club sandwich on lightly toasted wheat, to a chunky and creamy tater soup...plus a fresh garden salad with a scoop of delicious chicken salad and finally a light and fluffy perfectly baked tater with Rotel cheese sauce.

Frankly, we inhaled it all, too busy eating and making grunts and groans of pleasure to talk!

We have a brownie waiting for us to have room to split it, but I've no doubt it will be as delicious as everything else.

Delis, for me, are the PERFECT restaurant (if it's a good one). I can be a very particular and "mood-driven" diner. It makes food selection an onerous task. But no matter the time of day or night, I can always find something to tickle my fancy at a standard quality deli between soup, sandwiches & salads.

With McCalister's ALSO offering one of my most favorite comfort foods (baked taters!), I am absolutely SOLD on them! And my husband is relieved because now instead of endlessly playing the "what are you in the mood for honey?" game, he can quickly try a few suggestions and then default to, "deli?" and have a winner EVERY time! So his gratitude will be endless LOL

Can't wait to grab lunch...

I have not eaten at this McAllister's Deli in over 10 years, very much due to the type of experience we received today. The office ordered out lunch today and I ordered with an open mind since time can make a difference. Avocado on BLT had a thick layer of black (not explicably lightly oxidized from sitting out during transport ), we had toppings missing(one order change on baked potato left us with no sour cream and one butter packet ), pickles missing, straws missing, and the sweet tea tasted like the dishwater McDonald's sweet tea. I ordered two lemons just in case so I could counteract this scenario in case it happened and only a tiny one was added to the tea. As someone that used to really enjoy their sweet tea and their food, this didn't leave me pleased at the money spent. I don't go out to eat overmuch, so when I do, it's pretty deflating to have a negative experience. I get that sometimes things happen in the ordering /food prep process. However, it feels very much like there is a lack of attention happening that could be addressed. Given the amount of time since I have frequented this location, it sadly doesn't seem like much has changed. The BLT outside of the Avocado was very good, as were the veggies on the potato, so it's not like this was a total fail-there just need to be some adjustments in training...

I don't normal give poor reviews, however we were very disappointed this evening. First, we ordered our meal for Curbside pick up, 15 minutes prior to our arrival. Once there, we called the number on the sign in the parking spot and gave them our name and information. Well after sitting there for over 30 minutes, I called again, to which the young lady, who was very sweet, apoligized and said it was sitting right there and she would be right out with our food, and offered a free cookie. Well by the time we got home, our food was luke-warm at best and needed to be re-heated. My husbamd's meal, the Max Spud, was ok I guess, but I ordered the spud with roast beef and au ju on it. Well I was very unhappy to find that over 50% of the "meat", was not meat at all, but inedible fat and gristle. And if there was au ju, there couldn't have been much because I would have assumed it would have soaked into the potato, which would have been fine, but there was no evidence of it due to the overall dryness of the potato. Like I said, I don't like to give poor reviews, but unfortunately the service was poor with regard to us getting forgotten for 30 minutes in the curbside pickup spot, and then very poor quality meat on my dry potato. I hope you guys will...
