Romero's K9 Club & Tap House — Restaurant in Lafayette

Amazing time a Romero's today. Probably one of the most under rated tap list in the greater Denver metro area. My wife has recently had to move off of "most beer" and become gluten free. My wife explained to the bartender her situation and they were amazing. They had multiple offerings on tap of ciders and then a secret back page of even more ciders, wine, etc. My wife was blown away. Finally a place that satisfies both of our high end tastes. My wife likes dry ciders vs sweet. Crushed it with around 4 offerings, red and white wine to boot. Now it's my turn, amazing IPA offerings from WeldWerks, Outer Range, Fremont, Comrade etc. Love those hazies. They even had Fremont's Coconut B-Bomb but damn at 14% I was scared, but hey they offered a nice 5 oz pour so I could still make dinner for my beautiful wife , lol. I will be back as they seem to get awesome kegs of rare offerings and my wife can also find cool stuff. There were some well behaved dogs in the tap room but most of the pups were playing in the dog run out back in the beautiful...

Especially during COVID-19, Romero's provides a sense of normalcy and friendliness. I saw a recent poor review saying the staff asked them to leave for not waiting to be seated and the staff was rude. I'm sure there's A LOT more to that story. I have witnessed the staff bend over backwards to help customers follow the simple rules put in place to protect both us and the them. They explain the reasons to people and work quickly to find folks a place to sit and enjoy a cold beer with friends and pups alike. I've also witnessed customers going out of their way to take the rules personally and get aggravated and be rude to the staff. Never once have I seen the staff respond in kind. They ALWAYS remain calm and polite. Not sure I personally could maintain the self control they do. So know this- if you like people, pups, good beer and an inviting atmosphere, this is your kind of place. Just help them out and follow the safety rules so all can enjoy. Hope to see you there! ...

We literally couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding reception. Maria & Lenny were so responsive leading up to the event and took such good care of us during the night. They worked so gracefully with all of our vendors, including super closely with catering to make sure everything flowed & worked for them, too. They also took care of us all night: bringing us fancy waters when they passed by, letting us (or our coordinator) know of any issues, and handling the large number of guests we had. Almost every guest told us saying it was the best beer selection at a wedding they had ever been to! Despite being packed all night, there was never a line at the bar because of how well-staffed it was. It also looked so gorgeous, with flowers and cocktail tables and matching shade sails!
