This eagle was found on the ground, unable to fly. Due to the presence of metal seen by x-ray, the eagle was thought to be the victim of a gunshot. He resides at the Alaska Raptor Center in Sitka.

For someone who loves traveling the world and animals, i certainly appreciate their vibrant pictures of the animals and catching the spectacular moment of the natures. People who work here are extremely friendly and nice. They chatted with me and showed me the art. Read moreSome beautiful photography but on display is a image of two chained up Jaguars in a boat. Why would an organization focused on conservation display an image of the exploitation of the natural world without a word of protest? The photograph did no justice to the various messages the organization is trying to promote. The staff was also extremely rude and only educated patrons that appeared wealthy enough to purchase photography. Overall a disgrace and disservice to the National Geographic...
