The Smokehouse at House of Blues — Restaurant in Lake Buena Vista

whenever i go to disney, my family and i always made it one of our main priorities to come down here and have their absolutely phenomenal pulled pork sandwiches. i dont know what happened in the past 1-2 years, but it is no exaggeration when i say the food absolutely sucks now. little to no sauce on the sandwiches, grease to the point where its hard to eat the sandwhich, and i even though the beans where sauce at first when seeing them. lots of fatty meat on the sandwiches as well. sad to see one of my families main traditions when coming to springs be poured down the drain. disappointed :(

We were in town for a competition with our group of kids at the convention center. We then let them have an afternoon at Disney Springs to celebrate. We needed dinner before getting in the bus ride home. We initially made reservations for 12, but our group grew last minute with several parents and kids to 23. Not only did The Smokehouse accommodate us, but they got us in and out in record time. The food was delicious. The service was on point. The server, Andrea, was so patient with us. A little over an hour after our arrival, all were fed and we were checked out and ready to go. Would love to come back and enjoy this place at leisure...

I normally have a super positive experience here, but my visit today (on 3/27/25 around 11:30am) was less than desirable. I come here for the smoked turkey leg fairly often and on this visit I was receiving pretty good customer service until I presented a Disney Gift Card for payment. After that the lady's pleasant demeanor turned to a short & pissy-pouty kind of attitude. I'm not sure why a gift card would cause the attitude. The turkey leg was delicious as always but customers deserve a consistently good experience regardless...
