The Art Corner by Artistic Talent Group — Attraction in Lake Buena Vista

UPDATED REVIEW: Changing my rating from 1 star (previous review below) as I reached out to the company for a redraw. I was in contact with Lisa D. who was super helpful and prompt with her replies. The artist redrew us in a few days after sending some headshots along with requested notes of what we didnt like about our old drawing. We were sent a proof prior to it being colored in. Even without color, the caricature looks SO much better - you can tell its us! While some artists may miss the mark, The Art Corner's customer service is notable.

This review is for the Artistic Talent Group booth located in Hollywood Studios. Came from California to celebrate my 30th at the parks and the one thing I wanted as a souvenir was a caricature drawing of my husband, dog and I. We got one done in Disneyland CA and loved it so was hoping to add to the collection. Unfortunately the one received here will end up in the garbage because it looks NOTHING like us. I sent a picture of it to family and friends and they all laughed and agreed it looks nothing like us. Honestly, the drawing of "me" looks like Selena Quintanilla mixed with easter island head which in theory sounds lovely, except im an asian female. They took 3 photos of my face and one of my hair to "correctly capture the length"; I have straight long black hair and the drawing has shorter wavy brown hair. It truly has me wondering what photo/person they were looking at when they drew it. The only part we liked about the drawing was my dog so we might just cut the photo and keep that part. Disappointed to say the least. $150...

This place is amazing! Both the atmosphere and the staff are super welcoming the minute you step through the door. Back in 2024, I had a caricature done of one of my hairless cats at the red caricature trolley car in Hollywood studios. It was the first time ever getting one done so we gave the artist free range to be creative. He turned our hairless cat into a Pharaoh. My partner and I loved it so much we wanted to eventually get our two other cats done. While visiting Florida this year, we stopped by at The Art Corner in Disney Springs. The manager, Kiersten, was fantastic. We explained our previous experience and how we wanted the new caricatures to match the style and Egyptian theme of the first. Although the artist who did our first caricature was no longer working there, she listened to what we wanted and took note of all our ideas. She explained that each artist has their own style, so it might not be exactly the same, and we really appreciated the honesty. She asked us for a photo of the original caricature for reference, along with photos of our two cats, and walked us through the entire process. The customer service was amazing! They let us know when our artwork was ready for pick up and we absolutely loved them, they were exactly what we wanted. We even got to meet/thank our very talented artist in person. This place is a must stop if you’re in Disney Springs. If we ever expand our hairless cat family and return, we’ll definitely be adding to our caricature...

I had previously had pet cartoons here done of 2 of my pets, but I still needed my third pet drawn. On my next visit, I knew I had to visit this shop here at Disney Springs. They have examples posted around the shop. When you know what you would like to order, you go to the counter to fill out your order form. Know your general theme to give the artists an idea. I came with pictures prepared. You can air drop or text your pictures to them of your pets or ideas. Then your order goes into the queue for drawing. They text you when it is ready, so you can shop around Disney Springs in the meantime. Mine only took about an hour to draw and it was ready! You have some options such as black and white, color, just a face, face and body, and even with a frame if you want. For my first two pet-toons I have my two dogs wearing mickey and minnie hats. For my newest pet-toon, I have my cat in an aristocats theme. It was so cute and colorful! The artists really try and make it creative. If you are looking for something unique, come check out this shop, they have so many other things they can do like draw your name or your own caricature, among other crafts...
